Boy, that was some game. Kansas made a helluva comeback, but they just came up a bit short. Collison had another awesome game.

Hats off to the Orangemen, however. Carmelo Anthony is going to make some NBA team very happy. Good to see Jim Boeheim win his first title, too.

"America may have some problems, but it's our home. Our team. And if you don't wanna root for your team...then you should get the hell out of the stadium. Go America." --Stan Marsh, South Park

I bow in reverence of the awesomeness of...Roy Williams. Didja see how he stuck it to Bonnie Bernstein and CBS Sports?

As a frustrated TV dude who deals with moron producers every day, I can say that getting off a blast at the idiots in the booth AND swearing live on national TV kicks several types of ass.

Congrats, Coach Williams. You just vaulted to #2 on my all-time college coaching faves list (right behind Dick Bennet...lucky Washington State.)

One great game to cap off one the better all time tournaments. I don't about you guys, but I hope this stupid "pod seeding" is done away with. Its just stupid.

WIENER OF THE DAY! July 6, 2002!

Fear can sometimes be a useful emotion. For instance, let's say you're an astronaut on the moon and you fear that your partner has been turned into Dracula. The next time he goes out for the moon pieces, wham!, you just slam the door behind him and blast off. He might call you on the radio and say he's not Dracula, but you just say, "Think again, bat man."

Don't bet on it. Too much money to be madee. At least it's better than the garbage in the women's tournament.

Can anyone else remember a national title game where both teams tried so hard to give the game away?

There is only one man left to save Vince McMahon and the WWF/E. Where have you gone Greg Gagne, a nation turns its lonely eyes to you.

All I can say is It's about time for Jimmy B!!!!

As a huge Orange fan, I had hopes, but wrote them off many many times before the finals... Thank god they proved me wrong.

Wish I was in Syracuse partying right now!!!

EDIT: Forgot to say, yes they surely did seem to try and give the game away. As Jimmy B himself said, they gave their all in the first half and just tried to hang for dear life in the second. Woo-Hoo, they did... I love it!!!

Like naming a WNBA team the Heifers isn't going to raise all hell. Not saying I don't agree with you, but I'd be surprised if it happened. Of course, it IS the WNBA, so it has a chance of slipping under the radar entirely.
