This looks especially funny IN ROW FORM. This is with Batista's presumptive exit in a month or so. Too bad for Morrison and Miz since they could be easy top guys on Smackdown now, plus DiBiase is at least theoretically supposed to become one. They'll probably still take care of Miz since they seem to really like him but Morrison is going to get MVP'd.
I don't know why there's so much negative space here. whooooooooooooooooooooa { EDITOR'S NOTE: I do - I'll fix it - CRZ }

I heard his contract is up and he wants time off to pursue acting. I am still not convinced we aren't being worked, but maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part, as I have much manlove for heel Batista.
"I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ."
His contract is running out (or has!) and he'd like to go do something else. Like acting. He was not a wrestling fan growing up, so if he can find an easier way of making before his body gives out, he'd be happy with it.
The informed people have guessed acting won't work out, and he may be back by Royal Rumble, but plenty of people may be back by Rumble.
Justin and Dave Meltzer have different ordered lists! Who should I believe?
Take your pick. His contract is up soon and all the 'rumour' sites say he is not going to resign becuase he is old/wants to heal up/wants to be a movie star/want to go to MMA/wants to be President of the USA. What ever fits you bill.
This is part of the supposed reason the his role in Killing Karma went to HHH.
I am fully convinced this is all much ado about nothing again and Batista will win the belt at the next PPV. It seems like every time he is leaving (usually due to injury) they give him the belt. Like last time vs Orton in a steel cage where he tore something yet squashed Orton anyways. Seems to be a pattern, so I wouldn't jump to any conclusions yet.

Only my finger is on the pulse of Ziggler's sleeper push and the existence of Finlay.

Yeah but. by your argument. if they did give him the belt. wouldn't he actually be leaving then? (same as Jeff Hardy)
By my argument, I am not debating that his contract is up and he's contemplating leaving. I am saying this will end up being a 'swerve' for lack of a better word and he'll stay a while longer in the end. Hence my 'much ado about nothing' and not actually saying it's all BS, because it's hard to really know for sure.
Oh I gotcha. Yeah he has tried to leave before and it just never happened. I think it was after Wrestlemania 24. I don't know that that was an expiring contract though, just a request. And then when Undertaker and Orton both got hurt in June, they asked him to stay.
With all this talk of Batista leaving, I honestly do not see him gone too long. The WWE pays him good money and he does enjoy the lifestyle that comes with making good money. I understand that he wants to make money outside of being on the road 300 days a year but I just don't see the acting career taking off and I see him coming back (then again, I have been wrong and perhaps I will eventually have to eat my words).
You have to figure that Edge and Jericho are going to be feuding with Orton and Cena, which is a shaem. I'd put Edge and Jericho up against Orton over the summer and actually give Cena some fresh competition - more matches with Sheamus, and maybe Miz and Morrison. The draft has actually made both shows fresher, which is what its supposed to do - there's very little chance of the same old faces and matches being played out on either show for the next few months at least.

The draft has clearly made Smackdown weaker. They would have been better off leaving Morrison on Smackdown and moving Miz to Smackdown.

It's also left SmackDown in a position where they HAVE to elevate new talent. I have no issue with that.

That's why I think it would have been better for Morrison to stay on Smackdown looking back on it. Miz drops a bit off the food chain of heels with Jericho and Edge on Raw.

With SD moving to Syfy, I don't really see what choice they had. From what I gather, Smackdown will be available in fewer homes than it was even on MYnetworkTV, which I've never even heard of (or hadn't, till SD moved there). Vince apparently wants his own network someday, and is just keeping Smackdown idled until then.

Absolutely. But if it's in only two million homes, and it's two million people who care about and religiously follow WWE, it'll accomplish what Vince wants it to. I'm not saying it's a good idea.
Sorry to hear your live event kinda sucked. Even watching at home the only interesting part was the Mix segment into a match with Slater and Finn/Cesaro. There is no juice to Raw right now. They have pissed away the women to let a bad displayed be champ....
