I never heard of Leonard Myers, but he must be hard up. Click Here (cgi.ebay.com) If only I had that kind of scratch.

I believe he was a former DB for the Pats. I can't believe any former player would be this hard up for $$, unless they spent their checks buying 8 cars and 3 houses or something.

You see a lot of older rings for sale on ebay and card shows, but I haven't seen a lot of the newer rings for sale. That's a nice looking ring. Click Here (sports.yahoo.com) for Myers career stats. I don't think he was in football last year.

EDIT: Well, he's getting a better price than Lawrence Phillips (The W).

That would be Peyton Manning's best chance to get a Super Bowl Championship ring.

(Thank you, I'll be here all week.)

Thanks for a great season, Pick of the Week fans...see you next year at Planet Magic in Denmark, WI!

He ain't the only one...

Packers 1996 Super Bowl ring on eBay

Considering all the other rings he's got pics of at the bottom of that auction, either he's the biggest dealer w/ the greatest connections of all time, or it's fake as hell.

Kinda like in 2003, when the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel found, in their very own classifieds, an ad for Ted Thompson's (then the Pack's director of pro personnel, now the new GM) ring from the '96 championship season.

Turns out Ted still had his. (More irony: that very article is cited in the above eBay auction as proof that this one's real. WTF!?)

Star wipe, and...we're out.

Considering the guy's feedback, either it's the former or every person who's bought from him is the biggest moron on the planet...

The uniforms - HORRIBLE. They really shouldn't have tried to make all the teams stick to the same four-color palette. The Locos (ugh) white numbers-on-silver were tough to pick out even in HD.
