Seth beat Brock. So, hopefully this ends Brock being in the title picture forever. Other than that nothing happened. No other titles changed hands. Ziggler was treated like a glorified jobber as usual. Charlotte won another match, she probably shouldn't have. Shane is still in a feud with Owens in feud no one wants or asked for besides Shane. We have no clue who attacked Roman for sure. And the 24/7 belt is still a thing that annoys the piss out of me. Did I miss anything

I'm tilting at windmills here, but what actually makes you think that someone who retired from active competition 13 years ago should beat one of WWE's marquee performers in what was billed as a one-time-only farewell match?
Weirdly, I feel like SummerSlam was good, actually. It didn't have a ton of sizzle, and the crowd was kind of dead, but it was a good wrestling show with several matches that I really liked. I was particularly fond of Bayley/Ember, which was a good, hard-hitting affair. It was no Takeover, but then again, what is?
You forgot Bray Wyatt's "debut"/entrance ... I know Code Orange wrote the new version of his theme song, but does anyone know what the name of the song actually is? Are they calling it "Live in Fear"? "Let Me In"? "Hurt Heal"?

"Forever" is a long time, and he's getting paid a lot of money. If the story works and he puts on his worker boots, I'm fine with him being in the title hunt every so often.

Other than the crusierweight title, what's another championship that made sense to change hands based on the current feud?

Dolph has been a broken record since coming back, him getting trucked by Goldberg could be the catalyst for him maybe doing some tweaks to his character. Also, who else would you feed to Goldberg if you wanted to reestablish him as a "force of nature"?

tired; complain about part-timers and older superstars taking PPV spots and beating newer talents
wired; complain that someone retired for 10+ years should've defeated a woman who just main-evented Wrestlemania.

You hear the face pops Owens is getting? They need to move on from this eventually, but I think it's done a great job of establishing Babyface Kevin Owens.

Instead of shotgunning the angle and running a match at Summerslam with a week's and a half build, they're letting it marinate for a bit. Nothing wrong with this.

Titles that give airtime and angles to lesser-used/exposed talents can be a great thing.
Not a Charlotte fan but Trish wrestles once every two years or so and you kolkka complain about legends being made to be bigger or going over current guys or gals and now you want a once in a whiler to beat a full timer, oy vey.
Now if they had brought back Hogan to face Charlotte... to build up that future program with the Nature Boy...
We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center.

I thoroughly enjoyed SummerSlam. Favorite matches were Styles/Richochet, and Charlotte/Trish.

DolphDrew Jericho Tracker lost his mind over Ricochet's costume. And he loves AJ. Richochet walking on Anderson and Gallows to rana AJ was tremendous.
Speaking of his namesake Dolph, the super-squash could spark the funny heel adjustment Ziggler needs. Everything in his presentation is more dated than retro, and something needs to be fixed.
The main event was great, and now is the time to elevate a midcard heel as a serious challenger for Seth. Cesaro or a returning Sheamus (who looks great with his new hair style), maybe Aleister Black. The title needs fresh blood orbiting it.

Good solid show actually. But maybe it's cos I've been watching the final 3 G1 shows AND TakeOver in the weekend, or maybe I'm on to something...
The wrestling was solid but slow. Things where Kofi starts his comeback were all "kick...sell previous damage....kick....sell damage" which doesn't rile up the crowd. You NEED to have the faces fire up, go into 2nd/3rd gear etc etc. I felt the same with the Ricochet match. And Trish. And Bailey. It was solid but they never fired on all cylinders.
As a result, it seemed the crowd kept quiet for the wrestling and only came to live for the Entertainment matches. Dolph/Goldberg and the Monty Python "just a scratch" action. Owens "dont get yourself DQ-ed" anthics and The Fiend's cool entrance/exit and lasty the Universal Title match.
So yeah..it felt weird. Solid Summer Slam but a bit weird.

Anyone know?
Look's like WWE Music's official YouTube page is calling it "Let Me In", so I guess that settles that ...
I only watched the little bits that intrigued me and none of them disappointed me.
"The Fiend" debut was perfectly done. Finn can take his time off and eventually "The Demon" will return and we'll have a weird spooky match.
I dig the 24/7 stuff personally. It hasn't intruded on much else. The stuff during the international announce team introductions was gold. Truth and Maverick have been two of my MVPs for the year.
Brock-Seth was fun. As annoying as part-time champ Brock is, he mostly delivers in matches. I'm not super hyped about Seth being champ, but we will see how it goes.
I'm over Goldberg and I've been way over Dolph, but their little match was fun and Dolph talking himself into additional spears was nice.
Well for one, if you don't care about these people attending or participating in a WWF event, you could always just not read about it on the "news" sights.
