So, we have some great news and some really great news and some good news and some not-really bad news (we hope).
Through a computer glitch, The Medley somehow managed to triple-book Saturday, September 29th, so the bad news is that we will not be able to present Blood, Sweat and Beers 2007 on that date.
The good news is that they were able to give us Saturday, September 22nd as an alternative date.
The better news is that Kevin Steen will still be able to make that Medley date, his first appearance at a Medley show since Un F'N Sanctioned 2005
The even better news is that this new date means the El Generico will be able to appear at his first Medley show since Un F'N Sanctioned 2005.
Continuing the good news, this Saturday at Mid-Summer Mayhem, we will have VIP tickets for Blood, Sweat and Beers for sale for $30. Get them quick before they sell out. Plus buying them from us means that you avoid paying the taxes and the service fees that you would normally pay.
Finally, I am reliably told that there will be an announcement at Mid-Summer Mayhem about who are special guest (or guests) for Blood, Sweat and Beers at the Medley will be.

Strong Style Typings Mid-Summer Mayhem White Trash, Red Hair: The Shit-Hawke Saga
I am supposed to be announcing that at Mid-Summer Mayhem 2007 the IWS will present a 6-man - well person - elimination match featuring Shit-Hawke vs. Justin White vs. Jimmy K vs. Dan Paysan vs. Twiggy vs. ALF Champion Stefany Sinclair.
Unfortunately, as per normal at IWS headquarters, Shit-Hawke's personal dramas threaten to overwhelm the actual event as the IWS Red-haired so-called Romeo, Shit-Hawke called me TODAY (!) to announce that he would not be at Mid-Summer Mayhem 2007.
Shit-Hawke: You may not want to announce that. My horde of fans will boycott the show.
Llakor: You wish. So why are you not showing up?
Shit-Hawke: I have a wedding to go to.
Llakor: And you found this out TODAY?
Shit-Hawke: It's a Hawke family wedding. Shotguns are involved.
Llakor: You White Trash Maudit Roux.
Shit-Hawke: ...and yet i still get more women then you do. Hurts, don't it?
Llakor: At least I don't have to buy my dates flea collars as jewelry.
Shit-Hawke: This is how I know you haven't been laid in a while. Otherwise, you would know that flea collars are all the rage in Milan.
Llakor Milan, Texas or Milan, Italy? And is that why they call it a "cat-walk"?
Shit-Hawke: On the plus side, my Mom did promise me that if the bride went into labour during the ceremony I could cut out early, so that's nice.
Llakor: I can't believe that I am having thjs conversation. I guess we'll replace you with EXesS.
Shit-Hawke: You can't do that. I asked EXesS and Tomassino to take out Fred la Merveille and Kenny the Bastard. We'll see how many legs that stupid lizard humps after Tomassino gives him a second-story Enziguri.
Llakor: Well, we'll find someone to replace you.
Shit-Hawke: Get Twiggy to replace me. He's never doing anything important and the crowd seems to like him for some unknown reason.
Llakor: Twiggy is already in the six man elimination tournament.
Shit-Hawke: Oh? Well have him enter twice. Our fans are so drunk usually that no one will notice the difference.

Strong Style Typings Mid-Summer Mayhem Scarred, Smashed, Sexxxy and Super
Also to confirm rumours that have been floating around: The Super Smash Brothers (Player Uno and Stupefied) will take on Scarred and Sexxxy (The Green Phantom and Sexxxy Eddy) at Mid-Summer Mayhem. This is the match that was scheduled to happen after Un F'N Sanctioned 2007 at the Medley when the Super Smash Brothers won a four team ladder match to become Number One Contenders for the IWS Tag Team Titles. Unfortunately, for the Super Smash Brothers, the Hardcore Ninjaz got involved in the match that they won the rights to have against then champions Scarred and Sexxxy and it was the Hardcore Ninjaz who walked away with the IWS Titles. So, the irony of this match is that there is nothing at stake but pride.
And yet, for these four men, pride may be the most important thing of all.
Pride... and the need to prove that they deserve a chance to fight for the IWS tag team titles...

Strong Style Typings Mid-Summer Mayhem Summer of Sequels
It has been a summer of trilogies: Shrek 3, Spiderman 3, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, Ocean's Thirteen. Some stories just require more than one chapter, more than one telling, more than one fight.
Manny being a complete asshole does have its odd benefits. Noting that only two men did not shake hands after they had chased him and his goons from the ring at Body Count 2007, Manny set in motion to order the most unexpected third part to a trilogy of this summer that has been full of them.
"I hate them both. I could take them out but why bother when these two psychos will do my work for me? I know they don't like each other and I know they will kill one another."
The two men that Manny is talking about have only clashed in matches that came in one and two in the voting for Best Matches of 2005.
And they will once again come to grips at Summer Slaughter in a match that we could only call...
