Things don't look so great for Pens fans. This just sucks, one of the better young stars who the NHL could effectively market and he's on the shelf again.
Well, Lindros kept coming back too soon during the wild west of brain injury treatment and getting re-concussed with monster deathblows. Crosby, I believe, had a recurrence of symptoms from his original problems at the final stage of his recovery. It sucks, and could portend worse things, but he just has to wait it out and get better.
The thing with Sid is he is already won a Cup. Shit, they could win this year with him on the bench. He would match Mario and really that is about a high as honor as you can get the in Burgh while not being part of the Steel Curtain. He is already a legend in Pittsburgh and he is not going to go broke, we hope. He really has nothing to prove. Lindros kept coming back, because he wanted the cup. To me, Sid fulfilled his promise as the Chose One with the Cup win, he doesn't need to do anything else. Plus, you know Malkin and Staal are pretty fucking good too.

This makes my stomach hurt. Yeah, he wants to win a cup. He could win one in Pittsburgh. Last time I checked, Penguins won a couple of games in the finals and if they did not get blasted in the first two, might have been a game 7 on the line.
