it pains me to yet again see my rangers miss the playoffs but nothing short of closing out the season with 8 straight victories is going to keep the lights on at MSG. Glenn Sather has his job cut out for himself over the off-season.
And for the final few games of the season and for the playoffs, my favorite teams are whoever is playing the devils or the fishstix

Bure has one more year ($10m) and an option year ($11m) to go on his contract - Fleury could be trade bait but right now you wouldn't expect to get too much for him due to his NY Meltdown this year and last.

Maybe a trade to Calgary for Iginla? It seems all of Fleury's problems started after he left there. maybe going back might be good for him. of course the Flames probably couldn't afford him.
Fleury for Iginla? I will burn my Flames hat if that were to happen.
It seems like the Blues are falling apart as well. Every year, the Western Conference is a fantastic battle right to the end!
As far as the East, I'm thinking the top 7 will stay as they are now, with the only question being who will be #8, Montreal, Washington, or the Rangers? I'm hoping Montreal, but I'm thinking Washington.
I'm pulling for Montreal too, but they've got the easiest schedule of the three (NY has the toughest), ergo they'll shit the bed and not make the playoffs.
The Leafs can mercifully end it for my Rangers tonight or they can let my Rangers and their fans still cling desperately to their final playoff hopes and actually make me go to the game Monday night against Pittsburgh - not that I can even come close to getting face value for my Rangers tix anymore

I liken the Rangers to last year Sharks. They made some big moves at the deadline that will pay bigger dividends next year.
I expect 90-95 points next year.
You're in a desert, walking along in the sand when all of a sudden you look down and see a tortoise. It's crawling towards you. You reach down and flip the tortoise over on its back. The tortoise lays on its back, its belly baking in the hot sun, beating its legs trying to turn itself over. But it can't. Not without your help. But you're not helping.
Sorry Fuel, but I have to agree with the others here. Speeding is against the law, and going against the law in this case resulted in the ultimate consequences.
