I'll go ahead and say this right now: Steve McNair is the most underrated QB in the NFL. The man yesterday was amazing and he was banged up. He had turf tor,a banged up shin and a rib injury and they didn't even think he was going to play and he just went crazy yesterday.
He was 30 for 43 for 334 yrds and 3tds and scored the game-tying 2 point conversion. Also, he made awesome plays in overtime to get us downfield for the game-winning field goal.
He's is one of the toughest QB's and no one knows who is he. He's a warrior and needs a helluva lot more respect than he gets.

Well most of those people are fair-weather fans.
Neil? you mean the same O'Donnell who used to be w/ the Steelers? he's still around? wow...i thought he hung em up after he left the steelers....
DDP: Well, there's this little passage I got memorized, Diamond Dallas 25:17. Sort of fits this occasion:
"The path of the bookerman is beset on all sides by the inequities of the talented, and the tyranny of workrate freaks. Blessed is he, who in the name of tradition and sports entertainment carries the stiffs through the matches of Nitro, for he is truly the workrate's keeper, and the finder of lost quality. And I will lay the smack down upon thee with great vengeance and furious roid rage those who attempt to outwrestle and expose my brothers. And you will know my name as the Bookerman, when I lay my catchphrase upon thee!"

Nope......he's still around and he almost got the start yesterday.
Steve McNair is the freaking man. He should get so much more recognition, but he really doesn't care. He is a big time team player. Samari Rolle said he wouldn't trade him for anyone and I pretty much agree. He is just awesome.
Anyway i also agree about Titans fans being fair weather fans. It gets embarassing at times. That stadium will be soooo empty when this team goes into a down cycle for a few years. They boo everyone, from McNair, to Kevin Carter, to Samari Rolle, to Eddie George. The Super Bowl in the first season was fun, but it was ultra spoiling.
In-fucking-credible. Anyone else see the game Sunday? The Giants didn't lose... the Titans won that one. Especially considering the rest of the team having the occasional brainfart (two pass interference penalties in the end zone?!)... damn.
The second the fair-weather fans leave I'll be happy to take their places. I live less than 5 miles away from the Coliseum and I have never been to a game but I watch every watch and have jersey,t-shirts what have you. Even last year I wore my jerseys and people looked at me like I was crazy.
Drjay: That one pass interference call where ball landed about a mile and a half in front of Amani Toomer was highly questionable but I can understand the other ones.
And my dad is a Giants and Titans fan, so I have no bad feelings against the Giants, But he was laughing at how bad Jason Sehorn was being beat yesterday.

Hey, he makes a pretty good safety... when he's lined up at CB.
Travesty? No. Young was the 30th ranked passer in the league and had more INTs than TDs. I'm kind of surprised at how easily he won. I thought Maurice Jones-Drew (950 rushing yards, 15 overall TDs) would've gotten more votes.
