Among the re-used shots from other media, the shot of a Stormtropper holding a lightsaber with low quality visual effects pretty much tipped that it was a fake.
...which doesn't really do anything for me. We only see one character's face. The voiceover is alright but there wasn't a lot of visuals to put it into context. That lightsaber was kinda cool, but then again, so was Darth Mauls, and that didn't turn out well at all.
Not the first impression I was hoping for. At least I didn't see a lensflare, I guess.
We saw *2* characters faces, actually. 3 if you count the X-Wing pilot (is he a character, or just a random pilot?) The X-Wings rocketing past just above the water and the Falcon screaming in against the TIE Fighters were pretty damn awesome.

Yeah - if those scenes don't get your 6 year old self churning with anticipation, I'm not sure what will. This already looks miles above the prequels.

The X-Wing pilot is Oscar Isaacs who is also cast as Apocalypse in X-Men: Apocalypse. The actor missing is Adam Driver so I am guessing he is the guy with the cloak and lightsaber.
