What's funny about the reboot is all of the non-delivery of everything.
In the first one, the crew isn't quite yet the crew.
In the second, Kirk gets demoted, then re-promoted, and Scotty's fired, and the crew has to re-form. Again.
Now in this one, it should be the first movie (since they blew it with the second one) to have the crew all together on the same ship doing stuff and it looks as if they lose the ship and are just hanging out in an exotic location.
The only way they think they can create drama is to destroy the premise and then put it back together. Every time.

This looks pretty interesting. I'm sure it's going to be far more different from the movie than it is similar, but that's okay. It looks good, from the few seconds they show.
