Personally. I think Moe should have given you odds.

Alaska Gov. Palin's daughter's, boyfriend break up

WASILLA, Alaska – The engagement is off for the teenage daughter of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and the father of her baby. Levi Johnston told The Associated Press on Wednesday that he and Bristol Palin mutually decided "a while ago" to end their relationship. The 19-year-old Johnston declined to elaborate.

    ...

The two had said they were considering a summer wedding.

Aw, crap. In Obama's economy, losing a bet like this is TOTALLY going to bankrupt me. On the bright side, that should move me up in the line to get bailed out! I'm too big to fail! ;-)

EDIT: I wonder how much MisterHenderson went in for!

The bet (with CRZ) is technically that Bristol and Levi aren't married by the end of 2009. So if they change their mind and get married in the next nine months he wins. But I'll accept payment in advance.

Henderson was in for 20 also.

It's OK. I'm sure you qualify for the Obama 25 DVD gift pack. The power of entertainment, my friend.

I took the bet for $20 and lost.

I paid it, and now I'm gonna fill a request for a bail out. That's how it works around here these days right? So long as I use the money for nonsense, like buying some Eco-friendly light bulbs or other carbon offsets?

Come to think of it, I could probably get a fair bit from President O, if I promise to use ALL of it for nonsense (even though I'll pocket it all).

I didn't think of it at the time, but I'll take it. January 1, 2010 we'll settle up.

I heard on FOX News this morning that the Palin's have yet to give Levi permission to marry Bristol. So technically it may not be official yet.

I guess someone is gunning for the Presidency and doesn't want something like a child out of wedlock and a nasty fight between the parents to stand in her way. Amazing what that book money can buy. Or Levi ran out of TV money and came crawling back either way I think this more financial then it is about love. Yeah, that kid looks nothing like them. So, I wonder who is the real Baby Daddy?

Henderson, CRZ, who want's to re-up? $20 says Bristol and Levi are NOT married one year from today.

Wait, I already fell for this trap. I think I'll just be happy whenever I'm eventually proven correct (whichever year that ends up being).

I'll take your $20. They will be married on July 18, 2011.

I doubt it is going to backfire in the short term since most Americans are opposed to gay marriage, but it could coneivably create longer term problems if opinions change.
