Anyone wanna tell me how the Knicks think they can come close to contending with the plethora of bad contracts they've negotiated? Any team that gives a seven-year, $100 million contract to Allan Houston deserves to be in the draft lottery. It was a bad idea at the time, and it's even stupider now.

They still don't have much of a bench even with Jackson... getting Waltah would add some more depth at the center and power forward positions. A legit 8-man rotation is better than what they've been going with for the long haul, but they still need to find a real backup point guard, who can at least keep the ship above water if Nash were to go down again.
