Velocity: Paul London over Shannon Moore Holly & Haas over Sinn & Tony Silento (?)
Smackdown: JBL celebrates winning the Fatal 4-way, but Team Angle interrupts. Angle talks about winnin the 6-man HITC at Armageddon 2000, a title match is set up later on between the two. Mysterio & RVD over Akio & Kidman Heidenreich reads poetry about the Undertaker Booker T & Eddie over Kenzo & Rene Carlito and JBL talked, Carlito teased spitting the apple at JBL but walked away. Puder won Tough Enough Angle over JBL via DQ when Jordan interfered before JBL tapped. Big Show came out and beat the crap out of the cabinet and Team Angle
Why would the WWE choose to have the three top heels on Smackdown have face offs and eventually a match? From historical perspectives fan involvement in these heel/heel matches are very low. The only real fun of watching JBL is to see if he is going to lose, but what real satisfaction (other than IWC)would it be to see another heel take the belt?

I may have misspoken. By saying the three top heels I was referring to Carlito, Kurt and John. The match only involved two of the top three.

Wow, three matches and a lot of talking. Seriously, I don't care if it is a holiday, they shouldn't be dragging ass (and believe me the TV version WILL drag ass) at this point.

Yeah, the show looks OK, but it seems odd to have only seven matches at a TV taping especially when only two are for Velocity (down one or two matches) and only three are for Smackdown (down about one to three matches). Then again Raw only had three matches and I thought it was paced pretty well. With the new move that they're doing with having Dark main events at the TV Tapings, dows that mean that the TV main events won't be as strong? At least it doesn't look like it will preclude the particiapants from wrestling on the TV show as well (JBL and Orton both wrestled twice this week).
