Courtesy Rajah:

"- Paul Heyman starts in the ring and says he will announce the No. 1 contender for the WWE title at WrestleMania later in the show. He then segues into the first match…

- Rikishi and Scotty Too Hotty def. the Bashams to win the WWE tag-team titles. Bashams were understandably pissed after the match, but no signs of a break-up or anything. Rikishi won with a Samoan drop. Not sure which Basham took the fall, but if one of them usually wears an elbow pad and the other doesn’t, then it was the one who doesn’t wear one that was pinned.

- Video recap of Eddie’s victory last week.

- Cat def. Tajiri. The two dudes who come out with Tajiri attacked the Cat, but Orlando Jordan made the save, and the Cat and Jordan danced. The silence from the crowd was hard to overlook.

- Heyman and Cena made some FCC/Janet Jackson references in the locker room. I missed part of what they said because of people moving around near me, but whatever it was became moot later on.

- Tape of Austin offering his NWO ticket to Goldberg.

- Big Show def. Billy Gunn to retain the U.S. title. Time slowed to a halt during this match. It didn’t seem like it was going to end, but crowd got into it for last 30 seconds.

- Chavo and Chavo Sr. talk with Heyman, who says Chavo will take on Rey Mysterio at No Way Out. Chavo says he’ll take Rey’s mask if he wins. Chavo Sr. will also face Rey during Smackdown.

- Eddie comes out to bask in the glory of his victory, but is interrupted by Brock Lesnar. They trade insults, Eddie attacks, Lesnar retreats, but leaves the belt. Eddie puts the belt on.

- Kane-Undertaker footage from Monday.

- Kidman def. Noble when Nidia distracts Noble by throwing all the money in his wallet into the crowd. Couldn’t tell if the money was real.

- Noble talks Heyman into a match against Nidia at No Way Out.

- World premier of Rey Mysterio’s music video.

- Torrie and Sable are announced as the Playboy models, with a short behind-the-scenes video.

- Rey Mysterio def. Chavo Sr.

- Kurt Angle def. Hardcore Holly. Heyman comes out, and is about to announce the No. 1 contender, but Big Show interrupts and comes to the ring to plead his case. Then John Cena interrupts and Heyman makes a Cena-Show-Angle match at No Way Out for the No. 1 contender spot. Cena leaves, Heyman leaves, then Kurt and Show go nose to nose and and Kurt slams Show. I would guess the show cuts off before Kurt slams Show because they started swearing at that point."

Okay, so there is a slim chance that these may not be genuine, seeing as they haven't popped up anywhere else yet. If they are, however, then it's VERY VERY interesting. Kurt Vs. Show Vs. Cena? Kurt goes over? Anyone else thinking that Eddie suddenly looks a Hell of a lot more likely to win the WWE title come the 15th? Come on Babay!

I've seen them a few places, and they seem pretty genuine to me.

Do you realize that, after Wrestlemania, there's a very good chance that the two World Champions are going to be Chris Benoit and either Eddy Guerrero or Kurt Angle? Who's booking this? Us?

Not only that, but Goldberg will probably be gone and Cena will probably have the U.S. strap. AND the whole Jericho/Trish storyline is supposed to culminate at Mania.

Yeah, I'd say this is all some big smark dream that still has plenty of time to be shattered.

Should Eddie fight Kurt at WMXX, I'm gonna say that it's already a Match of the Year candidate ... and is it me, or does it look like Angle has slimmed down somewhat? Maybe it's the chest hair ... and being a heterosexual male, I can't believe that I just said that ...

Usually the televised version of SD comes off a lot better than the spoilers would seem to indicate, but I have a hard time seeing that happen this week. This show looks dreadful.

--Rikishi/S2H over Bashams, winning the belts for no reason? Probably to transition them to Haas/Benjamin, but then we're back to heel champs w/ no challengers.

--Cat over Tajiri? C'mon. Maybe the crowd apathy will clue in Vince, but probably not.

--Show/Gunn - at least Show defended the title.

--Kidman/Knoble - could be good, but probably won't be given much time. Knoble/Nidia at NWO? Fuck that shit.

--Rey's video - pass.

--Rey vs. Chavo the Elder - could be interesting...

--Angle/Holly - can Angle carry Holly? Can Holly's heat get any lower?

I love SD, and would take SD over Raw any day of the week, but this week's show looks pretty bad.

I think the biggest news to come out of this is The Big Show actually defending the US Title!! Isn't this his first actual defense of the title since winning it, house shows not included?

Spiff-So the Dancin' Fools ar ejust setting up a heel team with no challengers. Fair enough. At least the belts are likely going back onto the best tag team in WWE right now. And the Eddie/Brock interview segment sounds awesome, from the Wob's description of it.

But what are Haas/Benjamin going to do w/ the belts? The best thing to do would have been to turn Haas/Benjamin face, and then run a full-on feud w/ the Bashams.

This show sounds really boring with a poor match build up. Chavo Sr. should be off TV now that the Eddie feud is over. Chavo says he's taking Rey's mask, I REALLY hope they dont de-mask Mysterio. It looks like Eddie will win the title with help form Goldberg. Good WMania matches, very poor No Way Out.

BTW I dont think putting the titles on Eddie and Benoit at the same time is a good idea. Gurrero should be champ but I would have HBK come out of WMania with the belt.

A poster on another board I frequent has satellite TV, and is able to get the SD feed to the local UPN affiliates late Wed. night/early Thurs. morning. A couple of his notes:

--the Cat/Tajiri match doesn't make it on the show
--Angle/Holly (in his opinion) was a decent match

Hmmm..

I have to agree with Spiff. I'd rather have Haas & Benjamin regain the titles instead of yet another Too Cool run. Truth is, nothing really stands out on this show this week, except for Brock's next opponents for No Way Out (Eddie) and WM (Cena/Angle). As cool as that sounds, I don't know, I feel like I could skip this show and not miss much.

Okay, I know from your other posts that you don't like the fact there's a lot of Mexicans on Smackdown, but would it really be that hard to ever learn how to spell G-U-E-R-R-E-R-O? It's just one more letter, and not even an oddly placed one like Q or Z.
