Now I have to admit I haven't been regularly watching this show but how long have they had Tom Phillips out there to handle all the plugs and promos and stuff they either don't trust Mauro Ranallo to do or Mauro Ranallo has refused to do? It's so WEIRD. They're two seats apart but they don't really ever interact with each other, and they don't both speak when they're all on screen. And sometimes they put Ryan Philippe or AJ Styles in Phillips' seat, and yet his voice STILL chimes in to tell you about the hot new episode of SHOOTER airing NEXT RIGHT HERE ONLY ON USA or the BIG BIG WILD CARD SOMETHING SOMETHING NEXT WEEK ON SMACKDOWN LIVE
oh and Ellsworth finally had his title shot, which opened the show and which we officially timed at 45 seconds.
Oh and Miz told everybody who doesn't watch Total Divas that Renee Young is sleepin' with Dean Ambrose

Daniel Bryan proves to be a dick by letting Becky Lynch face off under a mask and giving two men who got themselves counted out a title shot. Well, dickish.
Most interesting character tonight was Carmella.

Phillips has been doing for over a month and it was weird, giving people the idea Mauro was on the way out and Phillips was going to replace him. (That's since been denied.) I think the idea is just a way they're trying to make SmackDown feel differently than Raw, but they should probably pick better ways to do it.
You should definitely go back and watch this week's Talking Smack, at least while it lasts.
