I heard knee sprain is coming from the Seahawks camp, but that looked VERY ugly on film, and ESPN just said they're waiting for further word on the injury.
He was walking around, putting weight on it, and seemed to have a smile on his face at the end of the game. Pitts and Ryan kept reminding us that people have blown their knees out before and still been able to walk around so I'll reserve judgment untill the doctors have their say.
My heart did skip a beat as I was watching however. I also wondered (before the injury happened mind you) why Alexander was coming back out there with 4 mins left and a 2 TD lead.
Other than that, the Defense played very well today. Solid on 3rd down, some punishing hits, and guys swarming to the ball. Michael Boulware showed that Holmgren wasn't crazy to draft him as a DB and not an LB. He certainly has room to improve (as does the rest of the D), but a very nice game out of the gate should give him some confidence going forward.
The offense sputtered after a solid opening drive, and they were very sloppy with the ball (I was yelling at Engram to watch his backside on that long play where he got stripped), but they took care of business when they had to and were solid on 3rd down.
A nice start to the season (depending on Alexander's MRI results), and a good road win, so I'm happy right now.
