When Sasha Banks and Naomi arrived at the arena this afternoon, they were informed of their participation in the main event of tonight’s Monday Night Raw.
During the broadcast, they walked into WWE Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis’ office with their suitcases in hand, placed their tag team championship belts on his desk and walked out.
They claimed they weren’t respected enough as tag team champions. And even though they had eight hours to rehearse and construct their match, they claimed they were uncomfortable in the ring with two of their opponents — even though they’d had matches with those individuals in the past with no consequence.
Monday Night Raw is a scripted live TV show, whose characters are expected to perform the requirements of their contract.
We regret we were unable to deliver, as advertised, tonight’s main event.
I just don't see how walking off the job is the right thing to do here. Or ever, really. Lots of people work places where they have to eat shit once in a while. Not saying it's right but walking off the job usually solves nothing.

Yeah, and a lot of people are in positions where they have to eat shit. Speaking from experience, if you don't have to eat shit, I recommend against it.
In short, WWE seems like a pretty bad place to work sometimes, and if Sasha and Naomi feel like they've got options, then they don't owe WWE nothin'.
The (dirt sheet) story is that the plan was apparently to have Naomi vs. Bianca and Sasha vs. Rousey at the next PPV. Which is not only two face vs. face matches, but puts the tag titles on the back burner and obviously both of them were going to lose. Which is just dumb booking top to bottom. And the two of them were clearly put together in the first because they had nothing else for Banks going into Mania.
All that put together was apparently the final straw with Vince's short term, haphazard booking.
Didnt Sasha walk out once before with Bailey? I think its a bit much but it does show the passion they have for what they do. Naomi will probably come back unscathed considering her family and such, but Sasha might be in a world of hurt.
Well, the last two times this company had a wedding, something pretty cool happened that nobody really saw coming. I mean, people knew the whole thing was going to be interrupted by something, but nobody knew just what that would be.
