No, sign a one day contract! I hate when Legends bow out respectfuly. Lidstrom deserves to have his day on the ice in his pads, not in a three-piece suit. Yzerman did it the same way. I know it the most honourable thing to do, but the sight of them walking off the ice for the last time in their gear is the perfect end to a career.

Who's next in line for the C? They say you can't fallow a legend, but Nick did just fine for six years. Now you can't fallow a legend, who replaced a legend.

The NHL's never been in Russia before? Huh. I'm slightly surprised by that, given that it's been 20+ years since the end of the Soviet Union and a goodly portion of the NHL's roster seems to be from Russia or one of the former Soviet countries.
