Somehow this news is both totally shocking and utterly unsurprising. I mean, it's not like he took great care of himself, but he's also one of those guys whose daredevil bullshit made him seem invincible. Truly, one of the guys who made pro wrestling in the 90s seem absolutely insane, and absolutely one of the most influentual performers from that time. The business is better for having had him in it, and poorer for his loss.
I'm not sure what to think of this. The 8pm timeslot was inconvenient, but the 11pm slot is awful late. I was hoping they would get the nine o'clock, but I can't say that they deserve it either. There has been one great match Nakumura-Strong.
