I think he looks pretty good, until I got to his feet. Whose idea was the toe shoes? That looks hideous. I hope he does the Andy Dwyer and walks around like a monkey. (Anyone got a gif of that?)
Seems like they are going for something organic rather than a costume. Kind of makes sense with all the different forms of alien life the rings would be dealing with.
The idea of the costume is that is a construct generated by the ring. As it is form-fitting in other place, it sort of makes sense than it would contour to the foot like that. It's weird in a still shot, but I'm guessing that in action it will be barely noticeable.

I like that they bought a 7 day pass for a waterpark and were bored after two hours. Taunting kids was funny as well. "That's the baby slide!" "Yeah, babies".
