Rumoured from a previous leak, where all the rest of the leaked songs have been proven to be included, and nothing was (yet?) shown to be false: - Anthrax - Caught In A Mosh - Avenged Sevenfold - Beast and the Harlot - David Bowie - Space Oddity - Devo - Whip It - Steve Miller Band - Fly Like An Eagle - Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers - I Need to Know
If these six rumoured songs are legit (I believe they are), there should be four more yet to be announced, according to my calculations.
Songs I get to download for free because I pre-ordered at EBGames: - Deftones - My Own Summer (Shove It) - New Order - Blue Monday - Talking Heads - Burning Down The House
Originally posted by Mike ZeidlerSpace Oddity was confirmed on a Game Informer podcast. Also, Holy crap! this looks like the best set-list ever. GH:WOR looks terrible in comparison.
The Tom Petty song is also listed as confirmed on Wikipedia, but I'm not sure where that came from. Regardless, I'm pretty confident that all of the "rumoured" songs on my list will be included.
I wonder how much they had to fork over to get Imagine in there?
I think the deal is that the new Guitar Hero is going after the hardcore guitar game audience who wants to play Dragonforce on Expert mode. Which is fine and all, but I'm really not that guy. I want to play on Medium (or maybe Hard if I'm feeling brave and nobody's around to watch me screw up) and I want songs that I know and I want songs that my guests know.
Harmonix released a video today talking about the leaks - I haven't watched it yet, but apparently they scroll the entire setlist on a monitor behind them while they're talking. "Spinning Wheel" by Blood, Sweat & Tears is NOT in the game, but all of the other rumoured songs are, as are these ones that weren't in my list:
- Doobie Brothers - China Grove - J. Geils Band - Centerfold - Hypernova - Viva La Resistance - Pretty Girls Make Graves - Something Bigger, Something Brighter - Swingin' Utters - This Bastard's Life

Strong week, what with Web of Shadows being the most anticipated game of the year according to some commercial I saw (guess they forgot about GTA IV, Gears of War 2, Fable 2, Rock Band 2, Guitar Hero: World Tour, Super Smash Bros.
