SportsNight, SportsNight, SportsNight. Before AND after the stroke. He came back to work, and they used it in the series, and not only was he a rock star for doing so, but he managed to still act like gangbusters.

Soap and Benson were childhood staples on our house. Sad.
In ours also. Soap was great and we never missed it. Benson was also good and one of the first comedies not to feature a stereotyped black lead character. RIP.

Quoted for truth.
Sports Night is probably my favorite comedy series of all time, and Soap is the funniest comedy series, for me, of all time.
The first 7 episodes of Breaking Bad are very good, but don't rush through them at once. It's a show with very little in the way of happiness or humor. It's an incredibly well told story, so much so that you feel every bit of emotion that's on screen.
