CNN (cnn.com) is reporting that one of my all time favorite writers, Stanislaw Lem, has passed away. I was probably 10 or 11 when I found a copy of Solaris in my dad's library and was absolutely blown away by it. Being fortunate enough to live in a town with a really good public library and the libraries of a Research I school, I sought out his other work and was just amazed at the depth and vision of his work. He was truly one of the originals and will be sadly missed by fans of thoughtful, thought=provoking, and creative literature.
RIP Mr. Lem

Apparently not. This was just act 1 in Hickman's story. The incursions as they are talked about in New Avengers (before Infinity but they were mentioned -during- as well)
