"Kidnapped" has now not only been cancelled, but completely pulled from the schedule (broadcastingcable.com) - it will be replaced by "Law & Order: CI" reruns.
Apparently the last eight episodes eventually will be available on NBC.com, but won't air. That seems crazy to me - surely there's some non-sweeps time when they could burn these off?
So...not a great year for new dramas, with "Smith," The CW's "Runaways" and now "Kidnapped" gone, with "Friday Night Lights" and "The Nine" on life support. Of course, there's always "Heroes!"

You'd think, but it doesn't really matter to them. If they finish producing the 13 and give it an ending, they can release "Kidnapped: The Complete Series" on DVD and make their money back that way. Possibly even profit.
And "The Nine" is on life support? I thought it was doing OK. I mean, I lost interest, but I thought it was still maintaining a decent audience.
I lost my uncle to pancreatic cancer 3 years ago. It's just awful, and the survival statistics for it aren't good at all. My uncle lost both of his siblings to the same disease. I hope he pulls through. I wouldn't wish what we went through on anybody.
