Ricky plays in Salt Lake like he did last night and Canada can only hope for Silver !!!!!

Pray that Richter's flu like symptoms die down so that Blackburn doesn't go back in tonight.

Of course - if being sick helps Mike regain his form from earlier this year, then I need to go over and cough on him or something.

Hey Cujo was pretty damn good last night too. Held the Flames to only one goal. (And that was the WHOLE game not just PART of the gaem like Richter )

Plus out of 5 penalty shots this year he's only allowed one goal, including stopping Iginla last night (of course he's on team CANADA so I don't know if that's good or bad. ) (The one goal? That was a SWEET move by Markus Naslund too)

So the Rangers are now, what in January? 1-9? Yeah, Richter plays good. But will he keep up that pace? I'm doubtful.

Sorry, as a Devils fan, I feel obligated to point stuff like that out.

Richter played stellar earlier in the season, and seemed to be slumping a bit just like the rest of the Rangers recently..The two back-to-back wins are very important both for the team's confidence and for their playoff standings.

Damn...8-4..against the Bruins..Not bad at all.

Here's to hoping Richter and the Rangers will forget these first games of 2002 and go back to whooping ass!

A little Googling turned this up. Compiled from a few places, so apologies if there are any errors.
