PAS: Carlito v. Shelton was kind of a mess, but way better then any of the other shitty Shelton matches over the last month or so. I am pretty sure I had a porno in college which used Carlito's music so ever time he comes out I get a Pavlovian erection.
TKG: I'm pretty sure it was what they played during the hula sequence in Midget on Milligan's Island. Carlito to RAW means no more Cabana on Smackdown... Smackdown just gets better and better every week Carlito also is a nice addition to this show. I assume they will turn him face since Raw is really heel heavy...and he has worked enough main events against the real Mr Ratings Ray Gonzalez so I imagine he can work a fine match against the poor man's Ray.
TKG: Jim Ross "He's beating him like a pet coon" Nice sound editing by WWE production. I really liked Vis better when there was some edge and menace to his romantic character. But letting Vis have a strong pimp hand made someone uncomfortable...now I know it was Ross. Get a hold of the raw feed...Raw "I sure like him more now that he's a pet coon."
TKG: So last weeks Smackdown/Velocity ruled as they tried to top every match from the ECW PPV and in many ways succeeded. On this shit brand what they decided to take from ECW was impromptu tags and having Cena work as more of a spot guy. I was really not looking forward to Cena vs. Hassan as neither guy can throw punches and both work a mostly punch based offense. Instead here Cena did fewer punches than I've ever seen him use and concentrated on clotheslines, big throws and spots. Hassan's strikes still aren't as good as Tanaka's but better than they've been. this was activelly better than any of the Cena vs. Kenzo Suzuki matches. But still a nothing match. Helmsley tends to force his opponents into changing their styles so he can work his favorite Flair match against them. Benjamin is a high flyer so he made him work like Sting. Eugene is a a goofy retard so he made him work like Rick Steiner, Batista is big so he made him work like Nikita, Cena is a jive talking white guy so I expect Helmsley will make him put on another two hundred pounds. It's a shame since that was a nice flying shoulder tackle.
PAS: Not as nice as Dusty's dropkick.
TKG: I guess main event and the Nova match were fine but they bored me out of my mind. the Angle vs. Batista section was kind of walked through but I was digging and Batista's arm sell was nice. They really should have continued to work over the arm instead of using HBK's indifferent leg selling as the meat of that match.
PAS: I liked Helmsley's figure four Flair tribute segway into the Flair Flop. Helmsley is a decent comedy spot worker. I have written alot in the Dustin of the Day about how great Arn is at shifting from comedy to bad ass, Helmsley can't do that at all. He needs to cue up some Bugsy McGraw tapes on his next cross country RV trip.
What Didn't Work
TKG: No midget ring bearers. No Bischoff Bible reading. I say bullshit. this wedding sucked. Was Rick Michaels around for the last WWE wedding? Cause the only thing I really liked about this was Lita as Vegas stripper doing a set to White Wedding and Edge's Elijah Craig in leather outfit. Viscera's smoking jacket and ascot were pretty choice too. Kane coming out from the trap door didn't do anything for me but I'll praise it if it turns out that Helmsley, Davey Boy Smithed himself in the main.
PAS: I kept waiting for Danny Doring to come out and interrupt the wedding too, hell Aguila has been telling people in Mexico he is coming in, you might as well go all the way with the lame inside jokes.
TKG: Where's Kimala? This Diva thing has gone two weeks already with no Kimala. although the girl who danced in Black Eye Peas videos may be too bougie to do the minstrel act with Kimala. On the other hand, Alexis looked ugly faced enough to play a Lil Wayne's half Asian slut in a Cash Money video. She'll know how to entertain the WWE audience by shucking with Kimala.
PAS: Simona really had the look of the white girls that you get to fuck when you leave Swishahouse and sign with the Neptunes. Layla really had the look of the white girl you fuck if you stay with Swishahouse.
TKG: Pussy ass Nova putting up his hands for Vis' spin kick. I don't remember seeing Meanie put up his hands over the back of his head. Where's the BWO pride.

I don't think Cena can get anywhere near the emotional attachment that Dusty was able to achieve to pull it off. Cena would be more of a less coked-out version of a Kerry Von Erich: young, pretty boy, popular, generic offense, easy to put into Trip's style. Colon's kid would be a better choice to mold into Trip's Dusty II, as he would have the genetic inclination to blade at the earliest convenience.

We're shooting and staying carny in the same segment ... in the SAME storyline. Can we really have it both ways?
After missing last weeks I had to watch the match most are raving about and glad I did! It is rare that there is that much wrestling on a wrestling show and most people seemed to really enjoy it.
