We enter the grueling road to SummerSlam. Well, not so grueling if we get a show like this once or twice a week. We start with an amazing clusterfuck of Braun, Joe and Reigns wrecking everything and everyone in their path. It leads to them facing each other next week as well as the fatal four way for SummerSlam. So, we get the one good match already booked for SummerSlam and we are just getting started.
Finn loses to Samson in a really nice brutal match thanks to Bray. So, we get Bray/Finn at SummerSlam. Ok, its not like last year Finn was the first Universal champion or anything. I mean a feud with Bray is the same thing right, right?!!
Bayley beats Sasha in a match that will make it impossible for Alexa/Bayley to be any good. Honestly, its magic when Bayley and Sasha go at it. Why are we wasting time with little miss cosplay who can't wrestle, I am not sure. Emma is here and Nia kills her. Good, fine. Whatever. I guess you can make Bayley/Alexa, the other good match at SummerSlam, but its a total wait and see with that one. I am not a fun of the rumored four way since the Universal title is already doing it. A inter-promotional tag match could be fun with maybe the Horsemen vs. the rest of the heels.
Cass threatens to break Enzo's neck. Which was tough to watch with a five year old next to me. Fuck. I hate PG, but that was nuts. Like how many crazy big men does Raw need. Cue Vince loves Big Men song. It also appears that the Club are now the Good Brothers and are sorta face maybe. Not sure what is going on in the tag divison or where the fuck the champs are. Are Sheamus/Cesaro in the Lesnar champion witness protection plan?
The main event was really hot with Ambrose and Rollins beating Mizentrouge. Miz cuts a promo why the Mummy failed and he is wrong. The Mummy failed, because Penny Dreadful is a thing and it will top whatever shared monster universe Universal was trying to pull off. Its amazing. Anyway, after the match Rollins wants cuddle time and Ambrose is having none of it. So expect a double turn when they both face Miz at Summerslam for the IC title.
It was a good Raw. At least as good as we are going to get with this three hour run time. Sure, some CW stuff happened, but who cares. They have made Neville unbeatable and all the CW faces feel like losers or just generic. If we can cut them out of the show, the better. To be fair, I thought this three hour Raw was better than the 3 plus hours of Battleground.
That crowd was ready for the Angle Slam and went quiet immediately when he hit a suplex neckbreaker. Seems like an easy way to get him over: Angle Slam, Anglelock. He's already undoing the straps like Kurt. Go all the way. I love legacy gimmicks, and here's one the audience would dig into deeply.
The Revival are great at the action between spots. They sell well and have a great finisher. But if we're gonna have a throwback team gimmick, get them a manager like the great teams of old. (The Rock'n'Roll Express didn't have one, you say. Do these guys LOOK like the Rock'n'Roll Express?)
Bo Dallas has no business being in the main event, and I say Miz should fire him and Axel and hire new guys: Anderson and Gallows. Not only could they credibly cash checks his mouth writes, but they can go after tag gold to give the stable three belts. And oh my God, if they made Miz Club shirts, people would hate-boo them forever.

I don't dislike Bliss but it is kind of weird that Bliss and Naomi are champs for the #1 show of the year for wrestling fans. I guess the 4 Horsewoman can't be champion ALL the time but there's just such a drop in wrestling ability. Pretty much all the women in the Mae Young Classic that I'm familiar with are much better workers than Naomi/Alexa by a long shot and maybe the WWE should've been hiring these women all along rather than hiring one great class of indy women and then going back to training models and gymnasts. Not that hiring models and gymnasts doesn't work sometimes, you can do both even, but the reason there is such a dip in quality between both the 4 Horsemene and the main roster and Asuka/Ember and the rest of NXT is because they stopped hiring female indie wrestlers.

I like everything the Revival does in the ring but I find them so boring as personalities. A manager would be great, but who? (Assuming Heyman isn't managing anybody other than Lesnar) While we're on the topic of managers, I'd love to see Tyson Kidd come back as Nattie's manager. I liked his "Fact" gimmick and the cat references and Nattie needs some personality (Yeah, I know that's Smackdown)
Sure most of you saw the Superstar passed away. One of the early guys I liked and one of the few from that era who was still around. RIP https://www.wwe.com/amp/article/wwe-remembers-superstar-billy-graham
