I actually "LOL" at at episode of a wrestling show about twice a year...Rock telling Tomko he likes his show "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy" was outstanding. Not so much due to the line itself, but just how Tomko was just standing there with his Anthrax-beard trying to look tough and unsure of how to act at the same time.

Oh man, I'm gonna take so much shit for knowing this, but...

1) "My Little Pony" isn't defunct anymore. It's been re-released.
2) "My Pretty Pony" was the toy line that preceded "My Little Pony" (and is, in fact, defunct). It's actually funnier thinking of Randy carrying around the bigger pony.

Late Random Raw thoughts:

-How many "boys" does the Rock have? "Ahh I gotta give a shout-out to my boy Zach Thomas. My boy Jason Taylor. My family, they're all my boys. Miami Hurricanes, you all my boys. Hamburgurler, you my boy.

-Also noticed why JR can't say "Hogan." He was about to say it, then paused like he was waiting to be interrupted by Lawler. Also looked like JR had a buzz cut underneath his hat.

-Loved the Juggalo sign with the short bus.

-Eugene gives HHH a rock bottom and people's elbow and Triple H comes back up in a minute. Yet if the Rock would have done that 4 years ago he would have sold that for 30 minutes.

Well there's a difference between the Rock delivering it and Eugene delivering it. It's not so much the move, but who's doing it as well.

I thought the show was pretty blah and found myself flipping around the channels more so than usual. When the Rock's music hit, I was pretty pumped but after a LONG intro, I quickly lost interest. When Evolutions music hit, I was pretty jazzed to have HHH hit the ring because he and the Rock got at each other real well on the mic. Much to my horror, Randy "The Cure for Insomnia" Orton came out. The push this guy is getting is too much. His mic work is below par and his ring work is average at best. His "superior than thou" look has been done better by tons of other wrestlers, more recently by Christopher Nowinski. What is it going to take for the WWE to get the betl off this waste and drop him to Velocity? Every time he is on my screen a let out a groan and change the channel.

RAW is taking on tons of water now and the leaks are getting bigger. Relying on Eugene will only make his character stale and delay the inevitable. I feel inside of 6 months, RAW will be worse to watch than Smackdown.

Nah. I look at it this way:

Orton & Batista beat Rock and partner (Mick Foley).

Rock beat Edge & Christian. (6/1/00 Smackdown taping – I remember it because I was there.)

Ergo, Orton + Batista > Rock > Edge. So Orton + Batista > Edge. Edge loses.

Or something like that.

Rock doesn't make a guest appearance on RAW so much as he guest hosts the show. Or more accurately, he's like Johnny Carson coming back to the Tonight Show after a long summer vacation, and the Jay Leno-weary crowd is excited to see him.

And I love how HHH will insist to anyone who'll listen that he's "bigger than The Rock." And then moments like Monday prove what a completely different stratosphere Rock lives in.

Why should we give a shit about the Diva search? I taped the show, and thank god, because I would have been pissed at having to sit through all those promos. The only thing this Diva search does is show how freakishly mannish and breast-enhanced the current crop of divas are (except Stacy).

I'm just curious as to what they're hoping to get out of their $250,000 investment (besides pissing off the roster, as Lance Storm predicted). Are the hoping to draw women into the product? Surely they can't expect a lot of mainstream publicity out of this.

It's beginning to look like Y2J's injury was not work, which is too bad. My instinct is to blame Batista but usually these things take two to tango, and Y2J had been pretty sloppy recently.

I have to give credit to Orton for calling a match on the fly.

God bless Matt Hardy, he is trying soooo hard to make this work, but this whole storyline, plus Lita's acting (which really makes me wanna watch *THAT* Steph promo from last year) brings the whole thing down. Oh yeah, that plus the angle sucks. And the Rock totally rocks all.

-Rock/Orton interview- It's The Rock, he says hi to some Dolphin players(face pop) then makes fun of there bad play (heel pop). Rock's just kidding, Hey Hurricane players(face) this is a ring if you didn't know (heel). Hope Miami wins a Ring (pop) HA. Rock wants to chat with Eugene but Orton comes out instead. Rock says his entire family beat up Orton family, did Rock say Kid Orton ran into King Kong Bundy's balls? LoL. That's a dramatic experience if I've ever heard of one. Rock wants to fight, Orton says he's not warmed up. Rock doesn't care and starts beating on Orton. Bischoff comes out & orders security to remove the Rock (he should have removed the Rock's family for extra heat)... Rock leaves but not before he chats with Trish and Tomko(who's standing at the entrance way behind the curtain), Molly, Hurricane, Rosey & Coachman. How did Rock know Orton would come out & Edge will attack?

-Stratus vs. Victoria- This match was really intense at times. Trish took a vicious side-kick to the jaw and a moonsault where Victoria kneebraces came down on Trish's chest Ouch. Trish's kicks were really solid. I thought it had a nice quick pace, they both seemed to bring out the intensity as Trish took some nasty hits and it looked like Victoria took a hit in the mouth as well... I thought it was a nice first outing, hopefully starting up a new feud. I thought Victoria was more aggressive then usual & Trish looked better. These two have some obvious in-ring chemistry. It does make last weeks Lita defeating Trish result even more bizarre but I don't even want to talk about her. Stevie being strange around Victoria is a good thing for Victoria.

-Regal vs. Kane- But first backstage Regal tells Bischoff off and says he loves that kid Eugene. Wow strong words. Bischoff says Regal is back on the roster and to go to the ring for his first match... Vs. Kane. Regal starts on the offensive with headbutts on Kane but Kane quickly gets the advantage and tosses Regal around on the outside. Afterwards Kane is in Bischoff office and gets rewarded with a World title match next week

-Orton/Batista vs. Edge/Jericho- The babyfaces started on a roll with knocking both Orton and Batista outside the ring. But Batista walks in and clothesline Jericho to next week (literally). Y2J wasn't the legal man so they asked if legal man Edge wants to continue like a good babyface he does... The second part of the match had Edge getting some quick offense attacks. Most memorable was the double spear as Orton and Batista were standing in the same turnbuckle. Unfortunately another memorable moment was Edge unable to get Batista thrown over the top after multi-attempts. The 2on1 advantage was too much as Batista hits a Batista bomb and Orton finish Edge off with a RKO cutting Edge below the eye. Decent set-up as removing a couple of possible Eugene supporters/friends.

-Matt/Lita/Kane interview- I am fully enjoying the horrible stupidity of it all. Poor Matt he seems like such a schmuck. How many proposals is this already between these two. It's always amusing listening to the 5 girls who are popping for Lita and Matt and the rest are like "euh" until Kane with his Liiiiita and the crowd pops for him LoL. What is with Kane being all glossy whenever he speaks of Lita (I probably don't want to know). The fans weren't very sympathetic to Lita and Matt's situation now were they... Lita slept with Kane the same week as sleeping with Matt Eww, but it COULD be yours was pretty darn insulting LoL. She starts crying falls to her knees and WWE should have a ceiling cam with her looking up screaming "Nooooooooooo"

-HHH vs. Eugene- Evolution & Eugene are backstage hanging around setting up the match (in real life it's just like that, I think?). Bischoff comes in as HHH says Eugene doesn't need to hear his talk, Eugene leaves & Evo-Bisch has a good laugh... In the ring HHH allows Eugene to do the whale hole pose with him(now that's an honor). Hiptoss by H, Hiptoss by Eugene. Eugene overpowers both Flair & H. Eugene works the arm-bar, H says it hurts, Eugene says "I'm sorry". Wham punch to the face by H. H starts laying a beating but Eugene starts hulking up. Eugene gets distracted for a moment by Flair to allow H to pedigree him for the 1-2, Bischoff comes out & he wants H not to just win but hurt Eugene. Umm why not just let H get the pin then hurt Eugene? H goes get a chair, Benoit runs out to make the save & starts swinging the chair as well but connects with Eugene by mistake, Pedigree on Benoit.

-OtherStuff- Stacy is Matt's best friend now, when did this happen. Matt goes to his pocket to show what he wants to show Lita (should have been a condom). He's going to propose, getting married after knocking your girlfriend up after just a couple of weeks of getting back together. It's a fairy tale wedding *tears*... Bischoff says to the security no more Rock for tonight to waste time off his show, we have diva searches all night to do that!...

Speaking of, I hated those diva searches, there was like 5 of them, I kept changing the channel but coming back late to the show, damn them... Eugene comes out of the limo with HHH and Flair playing with toys. Flair compliments HHH saying he's too much, Eugene is loving hanging out with HHH. HHH is so smug.

-Line of the Night: HHH "My arm, you hurting me Eugene. You hurt my arm".. EUGENE "I'm sorry"
-Sign of the Night: "It's Kane's, Idiot"
-3Stars of the Night: 1)Trish. 2)HHH. 3)Edge.

This diva search thing really ruined the show. It's like coming in and out of every segment, it felt like every commercial break was 10 minutes long, taking in effect the actual commercial and this crap. If this is how much time they give the losers what are they going to do with they are actually on the show *shivers*... Only 3 matches that can't be good even though they were of decent to good quality. Rock & Rock/Orton interview was alright, I liked Rock backstage chats with superstars more entertaining. The pregnancy thing is entertaining for the wrong reasons but still having a laugh over it.

(Late) Raw Thoughts:

Opening segment was HOT, and I'm surprised at how many people didn't enjoy it. I don't care what the Rock talks about, it's always entertaining. Maybe not very productive in terms of getting people over, but entertaining it is. You think they could've gotten some world champ Florida Marlins to show up. Josh Beckett and AJ Burnett would fit right in among the wrestlers....I noticed in the second match that Taylor and Thomas were no longer at ringside. Nice of them to stick around (unless they went backstage to hang out with the Rock)....

The women's match was okay, with some painful looking spots. I thought that was Stevie in drag too, until I got a good look at him (her) and JR and King said they didn't know who it was....Divas search- I don't really have a problem with, until they show it after EVERY segment....Regal was GOLD in his backstage segment with Bischoff, and showed real good fire (no pun intended) in the opening seconds against Kane....

I also really liked the tag match, except Edge and Orton's constant trading of forearms. Just punch the guy....I fast-forwarded through the Lita/Hardy segment. Bad acting and predictible storyline (so far)....I enjoyed Trips v.s Eugene, though it wasn't a technical masterpiece. Trips was very good tonight in his acting toward Eugene. I didn't really like the no-contest finish tonight (that was 2 in what, 4 matches?).

I've gotta admit, I'm digging where they can go from here with Eugene.

"Yeah, HHH tried to hurt him in the match. But that was for the title, and Eugene knows how much the title means to him. Just because HHH tried to hurt him, it doesn't mean they're not still friends.

But Benoit? He's OBVIOUSLY scared of Eugene. He's not Eugene's friend. He attacked Eugene with a chair, after all. Not only that, but he earlier in the night he tried to keep Eugene from ever getting a chance at his title shot! It didn't work, so he tried to cost Eugene the match by hitting him with that chair! He's desperate to keep Eugene away from his title, because he doesn't want Eugene to have the chance!"

Admit it... it's so easy, yet it'd rule.
