Quite a few fisticuffs in that Rangers-leafs game last night - I won't go on about how the refs jobbed the Rangers out of several calls but I will give Domi credit for what I thought was an excellent move when he was tied up with the ref but still able to grab Simon's jersey and pull Simon down while Simon was tangling with Marchment. He may have saved Marchment from a beating. Domi is a smart fighter.

Here's why it was old-time hockey....the two teams actually scored some goddamn GOALS.
Eliminate the red line, cut the goalie's pads, ban the Trap, whatever. Regular-season NHL hockey is boring as hell.
Let's put this in the plainest terms possible: Darryl Strawberry has no business instructing anybody about anything. He has never done a thing in his life to warrant a position of guidance. Not on the field. Not off the field.-- David Vescey, si.com
That can be said about ANY sport. Even the NBA and the precious NFL. I'd rather watch a low scoring hockey game than a field goal-fest.
It's always the same complaints: All the teams in the NHL make the playoffs, the regular season is too long and dull, what's with getting a point for losing?, I can't pronounce the players names....geez, this sport really IS whack.
Well, round 1 is almost done...so, whassup with the second round? THE WEST ROUND 1: Stars def. Oilers, Ducks def. Wings. Colorado leads Minnesota 3-2, St. Louis leads Vancouver 3-2. [1] Dallas vs. [8] Anaheim Colorado/Minnesota winner vs. St.
