It's about time too. He had lost complete control of this bunch. They reminded me of the Fat Cat Rangers from the 70's. I bet Emile "the Cat" Francis felt right at home last night watching this bunch lose to the hapless leafs. This team needed more than Mr. Sloppy Seconds playing himself back into shape in Hartford.

Time to bring in someone with a little fire like John Tortorella.

I like the way you think. Detroit swept them in the regular season before the trade deadline, but the Avs of today are a completely different team from then. Not to mention Detroit's tendency to choke in the second round in recent years.
