From WO.com

--Randy Orton was sent home from the WWE European tour. The only thing we've heard is he messed up a hotel room.

And... the sun rises in the East.

Seriously, how many chances are they going to give this clown? He's a mediocre (at BEST) wrestler, not that good on the mic and every time they hand him the ball, he opens it and sh*ts in it.

Kevin Kelly: "Mr. Austin, would you like to comment on Wade Keller's Take that endorsing the XFL hurts your anti-authority character?"

Steve Austin: "Oh shit, he actually said that? I thought the boys in the back were ribbing me!"

Kelly: "No, he really said that. Did they tell you the part about you sitting in the stands, looking all skeptical?"

Austin: "AHAHAHAHAHAHA. Yeah... oh man that was too much."

Perhaps Randy is smarter than everyone else. He gets up near the top of the card, then, when he is about to be put into a position where there is pressure in carrying the company and how business does with him on top, he does something stupid. He knows Vince is only going to give him a slap on the wrist, then, he just goes back into the familiar pattern. It is a brilliant method not to get blamed should business go bad.
Of course, there is the other possibility that he is an immature punk who has never grown up from the time he went AWOL in the military to now and somehow continues to get away with his unprofessional behavior.

Exactly F'N right! There are jerks who get away with anything they want all the time in this world. Another reason I love professional wrestling is you can relate it in almost any "real life" situation.

I agree with you redsoxnation...I think he's still a freaking baby!

You squander all the opportunity a major company give you to become a star...something not clicking folks

The sad thing is, a lot of wrestlers in the company with five times the talent but less of 'the look' would've been fired after just one of these offenses a long time ago.

Nooooooo... that never happens. Just ask Rhino.

Perhaps I'm alone, but I think Orton has all the talent in the world. His mic skills are above average as a heel (they suck as a face). His wrestling is... decent. But his charisma is off the charts. You can see why they keep him around - if TNA was able to sign him, you know they would. And it'd be a big friggin' deal.

He can't cut an interview to save his life. Even as a heel, his mic work is nothing more than a bunch of stammering and stuttering to the point where he looks lost sometimes. Its harder to notice when he's with Edge, cause...well, Edge is awesome and can make others awesome simply by osmosis. If they cut him loose tomorrow, I don't think they'd miss him all that much. He's like the T.O. of the WWE, but Owens has more talent in football than Orton does in wrestling.

I like how everybody is blowing up on the guy for messing up a hotel room, and not based on what kind of performer he is. It's great that everybody is chiming in on how bad it is to go crazy in a hotel room. Just like when everybody shat on Eddy Guerrero for steroid abuse and his subsequent death, which, call me crazy, is worse than messing up a hotel room.

Yeesh, should Benoit trash a hotel room and gets sent home everybody yells 'glass ceiling'.

I think Orton's lack of individual profile since last year's WM shows how much faith the WWE has in him. His sole recent significant contribution was as the second half of Edge's tag champs. And Edge dominated the team in his comments against Shawn, Hunter, and Cena. Because not everyone can share the stage with Edge (Matt Hardy, you never had a chance; Christian, you reek of awesomeness.), this may be the safest spot for Orton in the roster. He can be the heat-magnet for a main event tag team.

I like his in-ring style. I like the snap of his moves. He makes chinlocks interesting, and how many guys can you say that about? The WWE seems to understand that he's a few elements shy of being a main-event superstar. He can't talk, he has only one viable character (smirking weasel heel), and that's why he's a glorified high mid-carder. They gave him the belt, true, but only to work against Evolution, and Batista lapped him eventually.

Then there's the occasional story of his attitude, and I don't care about them unless they affect booking. With Edge working hurt already, they can't afford to lose their other main-event heel (Umaga's off against Lashley). So even if they wanted to, I don't know how the WWE can keep him home for now.

You'll never find a story of Benoit trashing a hotel room. He's a professional.

I think if Randy were to somehow die in the process of trashing a hotel room, you'd be seeing more sympathy in the response to the incident.

Roid Rage?? Seems like something always happens on these overseas trips. Anyway Randy seems to be alot of hot water these days, the WWE may want to cut ties with him.

Does too. Nyah.

He grinds the elbow under the chin and wrenches back. He also does the cool pump-elbow thing during the hold. If the rest of his ringwork showed that kind of initiative, he'd be a fine worker.

well considering all the backstage ties that Randy probably has, its no wonder he can get away with a lot more than the typical wrassler

Hey, Orton's got a fine chinlock. I'd just like to see it fewer than three times a match.

Lexus, Randy Orton is on steroids, he just hasn't died yet. His name was in that same grouping with Eddie's in that SI story. And lots of people had bad things to say about Eddie before he cleaned up his act.

Eddie was also ten times the worker Randy Orton has ever been. Eddie could do more than just a chinlock properly. I'm willing to make more excuses for someone who entertains me than someone who just wastes my time.

Randy Orton is the Lex Luger of his generation, and like Lex, he will always have a job in wrestling. And it ain't because of his chinlock. It's because of his name and his abortion of a superpush. However, if he goes to TNA, at least he'll be outta my life.

sorry, just speculation.

being that his dad is considered a legend and he probably has a relationship with Triple H and Ric Flair from before he might have these ties.

You know Vince has a thing for him just cause of the look and "third generation wrestler" thing alone anyway.

oh well, still a lot of speculation but just a thought on why he might be given so many chances.

what Hogan's My Dad said also makes a lot of sense.

This guy has been given so many chances over the last few years, and continues to screw up. The fact that they let Angle go shows me they are not afraid of a guy going to TNA. Let's face it, Randy is not in the same league as Kurt.

So I am sure he has friends in high places. I have heard numerous times over the years that he is close with HHH and Flair, and they picked him to be in Evolution.

But when is enough enough for WWE. He is an embarrassment to them, and continues to sabotage any type of main event push they foolishly try to give him. He is still only slightly above average in the ring and on the mic, the same thing I said about him when they gave him the belt almost 3 years ago. Anyone think the PPV main event will now become a three way match?

As a guy who sometimes enjoys the TNA product, I hope he does not end up there.
