After the Brock deal was announced, word was Punk's debut would be at UFC 202, during SummerSlam weekend. I thought that would've been pretty shitty of them to do that. Not that 202 isn't already gonna make stupid huge money, but maybe WWE politely asked UFC to not pile on.
His opponent got a first-round submission win, so that's a little concerning. And he's 13 years younger. Sherdog lists Punk at 185. He's fighting at 170, and WWE still bills him at 218 from two years ago. There's no way he's cut 50 pounds for his first fight at this age, right? He was already a skinny fat ass.
Also seems like ESPN's not sure what name he'll compete under. I bet their CM Punk profile listing has his picture.

According to the ufc page (ufc.com), he's 6'2 and 185. He also likes the triangle choke and knees in the clinch. He has no heroes. None, I tell you.
I'd be interested in hearing any tidbits on UFC fudging heights and weights (before and after the weigh-ins, of course). We hear about it in the NBA and NFL when commentators note the official stats and say a player is closer to this weight or that height.

I've had HBO for about 6 months now (I get it for free for some reason...shhh), and I've probably watched more boxing than movies or series on there. Of course, I spent this weekend's show at a bar, and I only caught a little bit of Gatti at the bar.
