IGN, and Amazon, only lists the Tom Clancy and Transformer games under New PS3 Releases. However, if I search for the Harry Potter game, it lists June 29th (so it should be on the list.) Same goes for the Darkness, which is listed on June 30th there. And The Bigs is listed as released today. I dunno.
So, you could read the book, watch the movie, or play the video game. I wonder if that'll fly for a book report. I think I'll do none of above.
Darkness is a first person shooter, Rainbow Six is a kinda a first person shooter. Neither will prevent you from getting a XBOX 360 and Halo. the BIGS is 2KSports having overpaid for the MLB license and trying to milk a Street game out of it (two months after the normal version?), and Transfomers is a GTA wannabe, I think. Previews aren't really clear.
Could I ask why EA Sports bunched 3 of their bigger games in a five week span, and I have nothing to play right now? Not sure why NASCAR comes out in July, halfway thru the season. I don't care as much, but there's another Tom Clancy game coming out two months from now as well, what's with that?
