And the Lord said, "Behold! I give unto thee..."
Any "All-Star" game that does not include Tom Brady automatically means nothing. Or, in this case, less than the Pro Bowl usually means.

This I'm not going to buy. There are four quarterbacks in the AFC having outstanding years. Only three can go. That's just the math.

I'm just happy 8 Ravens are going.

Eh, I would be upset that no Raiders made it but they suck this year and the only player who deserves to go is the punter.
Besides the probowl is more a popularity contest than a true measure of greatness. You mean to tell me that Shockey deserves to go based on what he did on the field this year?

Now you will receive us.
We do not ask for your poor, or your hungry.
We do not want your tired and sick.
It is your corrupt we claim.
It is your evil that will be sought by us.
With every breath, we shall hunt them down.
Each day we will spill their blood, 'til it rains down from the skies.
Do not kill. Do not rape. Do not steal. These are principles which every man of every faith can embrace.
These are not polite suggestions, these are codes of behavior, and those of you that ignore them will pay the dearest cost.
There are varying degrees of evil. We urge you lesser forms of filth, not to push the bounds and cross over, in to true corruption, into our domain.
For if you do, one day you will look behind you and you will see we three, and on that day you will reap it.
And we will send you to whatever god you wish.

That link was still kinda goofy for yours truly, so here's the NFC and AFC rosters. (NFL.com)

PACKERS GOING:
QB Brett Favre
RB Ahman Green
OG Marco Rivera

3 ain't bad, but at least 1 more offensive lineman should've gone. And Ryan Longwell, who's gotta ply his trade in Lambeau Field at least 8 times a year, getting snubbed for a dome kicker is CRAP CRAP CRAP. Dude broke Don Hutson's record for career points scored w/ Green Bay, fercryinoutloud!

Of course, with his thumb, I doubt Brett will even go. If he's beat up at all after the season (and hopefully the postseason), watch Batman...er, Ahman skip it too.

Star wipe, and...we're out.

Incidentally, who could've thought at the beginning of the year that Arizona would have a Pro Bowler, but not Oakland...

Who should go out of the NFC then? Shockey's missed seemingly half the season, and led all NFC Tight Ends in receptions with 48 until Freddie Jones passed him up last week.

I am a huge Bucs mark and even I am very ashamed that Sapp made the team this year...But why is Keenan McCardell not there, without him we would have been out of the playoff race weeks ago.

edit/ Keenan's an alternate, my bad.

Those Moss, Holt, Owens, and Boldin fellows are all having damn good years, all better than McCardell. I'm more surprised that Steve Smith isn't on the team in some capacity.

I'm also stunned that my Chiefs landed a defensive player on the team. Of course, I voted for all five lineman.

You really think that the 49ers will let Garcia go? I can't see that, but I don't live out there so I'm sure you've got a better scoop that I do ... I just thought the guy was having a rough year, but not in jeopardy of getting cut.

Where is Rodney Fuckin' aye Harrison? As far as Tom Brady goes, all the guy does is win, win, win. Snub him if you must, but bow down to him when he kisses that Super Bowl trophey.

Harrison should be there. But if this pisses him off then its all the better for the Pats.

Brady I think will always be snubed for the Pro-Bowl. He just will never put up the Bledsoe, Mannining (who I will never consider a great QB until he wins a big game) numbers that you really need to make it. That being said, he is still one of the 3 best QB's in the league.

I'm sure Brady can console himself with the fact that the score for Super Bowl rings is Brady 1, AFC Pro Bowl QBs 0

I was going to post to complain about the Ravens and Chiefs getting eight guys each, but I can't really pick out one that doesn't deserve a shot. Hey Grimis, if your team has so many stars, why are they still tied with the freakin' Bengals?
Edited to say that Trent Green technically has a ring from St. Louis, but he had literally nothing to do with it.

Rob asks Dave and Ric if they want to go backstage to play Hungry Hungry Hippos and Flair and Batista immediately bail. Flair wants to be Green. Man, EVERYBODY wants to be green. Except the girl in the commercials. She wanted to be pink. That either means that the ad agency was sexist or that she was communist. Of course Hungry Hungry Hippos is a rather capitalist game isn’t it? No self respecting communist would play Hungry Hungry Hippos. Except Stalin. He LOVED Hungry Hungry Hippos. Consensus is that Garcia is egregiously overpaid. Also, a femme.

So if Garcia goes, does Rattay or Dorsey get the nod? Or is it time to draft the QB of the future?

Its nice that Manning sacrificed his offensive stats, but he was helped by the fact that the defense had improved.
