For once, a PPV poster might actually mean something. Apparantley, Triple H v. Batista will headline a 3rd straight RAW PPV, as the new PPV poster reveals that the main-event of Vengeance will be Triple H v. Batista in the dreaded "RAW does this same damn match for every June PPV" HELL IN A CELL~!
EDIT: Hmm, should have been more careful there. Here's a better version:

The answer to WWE's financial problems...
Never 'Wiener of the Day', and is actually quite bitter about it.
That means almost nothing. It looks like a quickly cobbled-together possibility poster, no real work done on it whatsoever. And seeing as it was probably printed before Trips' injury became serious, I highly doubt it's a lock as a match.
But even though promotional posters are usually not an indicator of angles and true matches, I don't ever remember a poster that blatantly spells out a specific match type (I'm not counting Royal Rumbles and the such). It's true that HHH, Batista or neither of them could be fighting over the Raw title at that point, but I think you have to give credence to the fact that this IS a major spoiler.

I think they deliberately leaked it just to get everyone going, "Ooooh, Triple H/Batista III in the Hell in a Cell at Vengeance!" only to swerve us later.

I kinda think Edge will be in a holding pattern for a little while now. Too much bad publicity. Trip's going to win it back - what else is he gonna do? He's fighting with Hurricane, JR - people like that. They've failed to make any other credible threats as far as he's concerned. They'll drag this out for months.

Well there is Edge who is the #1 contender at this point. Other than HHH getting a rematch at Backlash. I think there's also Benoit, Jericho, HBK, and Benjamin who could all easily be turned into viable opponents for Batista. Maybe not on PPV, but at least on television.
I don't think it will happen, but if they really wanted to, they could always move Angle post-draft to RAW where he could become Batista's opponent.

I think the problem he's talking about is that everyone that you just named is a face. Someone would have to turn, then build some momentum as a heel, and then challenge for the title. Until then, we're stuck with months of the only challengers being Triple H, Kane, and... ummm...
That's the problem. It's not that bad that Triple H has been the top heel in the company. It's that he's been the only strong heel on RAW for so long that there's no one else who COULD be a heel champ. This way he eventually gets the title back just by default because they don't put any effort into building a replacement top level heel during his reign. It's just him and all others are midcard, so who are you going to have win the title from the face champ in the WWE? The guy who's last main event was on Heat? Try running that by McMahon.
It's kinda like how the Dudleys get the tag titles every 5 months just by being the only tag team left every once in a while.
I think that after they do the rematch with Triple H, they should feud him with Benoit. I don't know that you necessarily have to turn Benoit fully heel to have that match because I think that Benoit could still be an ass-kicker whose worked so hard his entire career to get to the top that it doesn't matter who he has to fight to get back. Besides the fact that Benoit is a credible, new oppponent for Batista, it gives Batista the opportunity to improve in the ring. The only time I can remember a really good Batista match was the one on Raw in January that was very good with Batista busting out new power moves and Benoit bumping his ass off for the big man.
After a month or two with Benoit, you have the match with Edge still left to do at Summerslam or maybe Unforgiven (depending on how whether you go one or two PPVs with Benoit). And then, Randy Orton should be ready to go for a round or two with Batista, if he's not lotteried off to Smackdown to do a program with the Undertaker or whomever. With Orton, you've got the ready made feud because of the injury angle that they did, plus Orton is maybe the best guy to get the title after Batista, unless they go with Edge.
But who cares about that when we can have Batista vs Triple H VII or whatever in Fall 2005. (Interesting fact, since Summerslam 2002, Triple H was in the Raw main event at every PPV except for Summerslam 2004 (Benoit vs. Orton)).

Tribal Prophet
All these faces only one heel?
Answer: Batista heel turn. How?
Trips gets royally screwed by Flair (why not Flair did it so many times, I mean sooooooo many times for 17 title changes. It would only add to the story for HHH‘s 18 time World title quest).
Imagine the possibilities. (I’m already sick of Batista as a face anyways….uh…..uh…thumbs up….uh uh….. I mean…..uh……never mind….uh… thumbs down.)
Sure Trips will Inevitably get the strap but the HHH/Batista switcharoo would run a solid six months as Batista’s opponents would be lining up to face him. (One could only hope.) ( I love parenthesis ( yes I do))
My first Jake "The Snake" memory; Wrestlemania II: Jake the Snake Vs. S.D. Jones. and now I ask who the hell is S.D. Jones and why did he get a PPV time slot?
Flair turning on Triple H would only make Flair a face, no matter how it went down. People half cheer for him now.
It shouldn't take major (and incredibly forced) turns at this point anyways. The point was that they waste their time by not having any top heels look strong during the last year, and now it comes down to Triple H being the only choice, once again.
I'm not one to think that Triple H controls everything that we see and hear, but I do believe he had a part in this part of the booking. It would be a really smart plan, because it's not as obvious as having a bunch of bad guys and yet he somehow only is the top guy (Jarrett).
What about Kane? He seems to be headed more towards being a heel, atleast a tweener, he's still big enough to be a main eventer isn't he?

I don't see Angle going to Raw, they need him on Smackdown, however I wouldn't rule out Batista to Smackdown, they were rumored to be switching the champs once before why not Batista for Cena? Batista can then have fresh feuds with Angle, Big Show, JBL, Eddie, Undertaker, Booker T. Only problem with that is that if Cena goes to Raw, you have the same problem, who does he wrestle after Triple H? Someone would have to turn heel. But if you turn Benoit or Jericho or someone like that heel then them vs. Batista still isn't fresh, if you have Cena, it is. Plus let's not forget Cena vs. Christian.
Really I think the purpose of the draft should be to A) even out the rosters and B) give us new matchups. Moving Angle defintely wouldn't be in the A column, and probably not the B either since most people probably still remember Kurt's feuds with Edge, Benoit, and even Triple H's, even though it was much longer ago. Batista could fit into both columns depending on who Smackdown loses in exchange.
