I was surprised even given the obvious nature of the post that a pst was just deleted from the women's forum rather than being moved to the banished folder.

You should never be surprised that obvious offtopic spam from brand new users disappears immediately (along with the associated brand new user). It happens all the time and almost nobody barely ever sees it. It is intentional.
