After watching Jauron's team choke in big spots the past few seasons, the only question once it went to 24-19 was how would the Bills spit the bit. Thought it might be a double reverse flea flicker that would bring them down, but running the ball out with no blockers has a whiff of originality. Brady started looking like Brady in the 2nd half.
If McKelvin simply gets tackled on the 25 instead fumbling, we'd all be talking about what a heads-up play it was to keep the play going past the 2 minute warning to cost New England one more timeout.

Kicking FGs and playing mediocre defense against a 7-9 team in your home opener while waiting for the Bills to Bills it up was a great display of courage.

Heck, the Chargers-Raiders did a pretty good job of living up to it tonight as well.
Kirk, crackers are a family food. Happy families. Maybe single people eat crackers, we don't know. Frankly, we don't want to know. It's a market we can do without.

Chargers/Raiders was good, even when I thought it would turn into a clunker in the 3rd with the Chargers' O-line proving they're apparently made of paper mache.
If that was any team other than the Bills, I might have been shocked by that outcome. But no matter how many T.O.'s you add, they're still the Bills.

They're still MY Bills
.....but you're so totally right.
A look at the numbers tell the story. I saw the numbers after and the Pats did almost everything better except Edwards seems to be able to run the bootleg. More rushing, more passing, better completion right, everything. Yet we were winning with three minutes left. Of course, the one thing we do right usually is special teams....and McKelvin loses the game for us. I don't care what the pundits say, there's zero way he should have fumbled that ball.
Even then, my hopes were still up. 1:50 something left, down by a point. We've ran the No Huddle all day, SURELY of all teams WE can nail down a drive to field goal range.
Nah, not my Bills.
Overall though....we still lost by a point, which in this case either means the Pats are worse than what every expects, or the Bills are BETTER than advertised. I hope after next week it can be shown that it's the latter (or a combination of both).
You know, I really don't know what to put here. Close your eyes and thank of something funny!
Speaking of Oakland, I really wish they would have shown some guts and stayed with the man defense at the end of the game. I hate the basic "prevent" defense anyways, but they really should have at least abandoned it when the Chargers reached the Raiders 30 yard line or so.
Changing gears, I have listened to Mike and Mike In The Morning many times and I even have watched their show on ESPN 2 on occasion. But Greenberg was beyond terrible last night, mixing up guys' names worse then Jim Ross in 2004. Plus, they all talked over each other all game long. It was pretty excruciating to listen to.

It was like none of the three knew who the color man was supposed to be. And, Greeny, while I love him on Mike n Mike, sounds like a high school basketball announcer you'd hear on local radio.
