Had a friend that went to the show, LIVE! And he said this...

After the match the Rock picked a mic up and went into his "FINALLY! The ROCK! Has come BACK! To Long ISSSSSS-Oh it doesn't MATTER where the Rock is!" He got booed, and then: "The Rock is STILL leaving the people's champ!" Got up to leave to "Na-na-na-na! Say-hey-ey, GOODBYE!" chants, and ran back to the ring, picking the mic back up. Came back to do "If Ya SMELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL" did his pause, as everyone said it with him, then "This ain't sing a long with the Rock!" And left to boos.

My take: What a pimp. If only he could get booed at EVERY show! They'd HAVE to turn him heel.

Man, Long Island sucks!

No apperication from a good match for Rock and I have to say, I hope to God they never go there again. I was talkig to a friend who say the PPV tonight in a different place tonight and all of us came to the crowd was on their hands for most of the night. Long Island has been notrious for being a lousy place to have a show. I hope the WWF doesn't go there again. Granted, its Mick's stomping grounds, but since he is not there anymore why go there?

A Fan- I have never hated a crowd more than I hate the people of Long Island, no wonder their hockey team sucks.

See, that's why they need to have Mania in Seattle. Because dammit, WE know how to cheer for the damned babyfaces! We actually know how to play along, and as long as they don't try to shove us a Buff Bagwell main event, we'll behave nicely!

One night that the WWF (get the E out) came to Long Island for Raw, Mick came out to open the show...and he came out to DEAD SILENCE!! I think that says it all.

"That's right! You suckas better FIND somewhere to run! 'cause it's me - Booker T - not only am I the Scorpion King, but I'm the five-time WCW Champion - and I got a sword, too! Now can U dig THAT - SUCKAAAAAS"
-Booker T, Hollywood's next big superstar!

And that's the bottom line, because it's false! It's DAMN false!

The funniest part of the Rocks promo is that after booing him all throughout the match and at the start of his promo they still want to sing along with him as he is doing the "If Ya SMELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL" part. So he then cuts them off with "This ain't sing a long with the Rock!".

It is funny though that at the last 2 Mania's and at this Summerslam the crowd turned on Flex. Maybe someone in management should take a hint.

Thank you Mr. Wanz for the check, now you get an AWA World Title Reign. But be careful, my boy Greg is a heat machine.

Does that mean Brock will do a face turn?

Friend got the show on tape and we did a little lip reading. Here are some things the Rock said:

(during the sharpshooter, spits afterwords) "Don't boo the ROCK!"

(Lesnar kicks out of the Rock Bottom) "What does the Rock have to do!? You people boo the Rock!? What does the Rock have to do!?"

He had some other classic ones, but I haven't got to see the whole thing.

You know what, I just figured out the secret behind this whole Rock being a heel thing. It's all Triple H's doing! See if everyone cheers Lesnar, then Lesnar goes face. Eventually the uber-heel HHH will get to knock him off, and it'll all look natural and not like part of his evil master plan to eventually make an entire promotion just based on he and Steph talking for an hour, and then both of them taking turns squashing Jericho for an hour each show.

Okay, maybe HHH didn't plan for this, but that is the one thing that does scare me about the reaction last night. As it is now, at least HHH would have to do a face turn to get to squash Lesnar, but if somehow Lesnar goes face like Goldberg, then HHH can truly finish the morph into Kevin Nash at next year's Starrcade...I mean WM Can they bring back X-Pac to hold the cattle prod?

In the end EVERYTHING comes back to Triple H. I bet you can trace the the foot and mouth disease that happened here in England last year back to him as well.
Speaking of X-Pac. Do you think that he somehow managed to bottle some of his own suck heat and planted some of it onto Rock?

Or is that just the Rocks excuse? Hhmm.

Here's to hoping that they get Brock over as a face and when he's headlining Wrestlemania against Angle, the Rock walks out to monstrous applause, only to level the both of them. Then the next night on RAW, gives us a promo on how he's still the People's Champion and we boo... just like the days of yore.

You mean HHH DIDN'T release the virus from his pores as he was roiding, er, recuperating from his quad pull?

The fed tried to keep the Rock face because the Rock being a face means people want to go and see him... which translates into people wanting to go and see him in a movie theatre. $$

Just like people would want to buy a CD from a band featuring a face wrestler. Oh, wait...

Wait a minute, I remember when the BSE thing hit, they said that some growth hormones developed from cattle had to be taken off the market due to people contracting CJD from it. Maybe the foot and mouth disease and the subsequent cow burning was HHH's way of getting revenge before the pions that infected his 'vitamin supplements' turn his brain into a useless jelly - well, slightly more useless jelly.

Maybe the pions can be passed on sexually and that explains most of the storylines from SS '00.
