I've been an exclusive CRZ reader since the early RSPW days, I go away on vacation for a week, and its all fucked up. What happened?!? One of the best weeks, including Vengance, of WWE tv in years, they eventually make the RAW/SD "war" mean something, which I'm sure CRZ woulda really enjoyed given the poor subject matter he's had to deal with recently. Not to mention the third anniversary bash :-)

So, without any bullshit, and hoping to god the man himself is OK, what's up with CRZ....

Um... read the really long thread.

Short answer: Seemed to be pissed off about the whole Bischoff thing, but we really don't know much of anything. I, personally, kinda doubt he's gone for good.

Can someone explain to me why any of you care where he went and/or why he went?

because The Rick said he got an email about CRZ "Quitting" then CRZ counters with "Don't beleave everything you read"

and you know us wacky internet types, we gotta guess, conjecture, and argue about anything and everything

Although I found the near hysteria it seemed some people were in after CRZ left a bit odd, I'm sure that if I went to Yahoo tomorrow to check my fantasy baseball team and found the same *good night* screen I'd be like, "What the hell?" The same goes with ESPN, The Digital Bits, PWTorch or whatever you want.

While this doesn't mean that CRZ owes an explaination to anyone, I hardly think it's outrageous for people who visit this site multiple times daily to want to know what happened.

Get used to disappointment

Slashwrestling.com went black for seven days. It's back now. Even the content that we had no right to expect is up (i.e. last week's show reports).

Could everybody please now get over it?

Why did he do it? Fuck knows. Why do you care?

What was the result of it? People freaked out for a few days. Hopefully we all got a chance to reassess our appreciation for what is done for us, free of charge, each and every week. Pestering the guy about why he did it seems to me to cheapen any and all nice things said about him.

``We miss you CRZ! We appreciate you! Welcome back!''

Wasn't that enough? Why does it now have to be ``Why did you do it CRZ? I gotta know!'' So we can assess his reasons and analyse them? So we can judge what he did? Or so we can compare notes and find out who was right?

This is an Internet message board. Not the WWE. Last week was not a booking situation, it was real life.

One of the popular comments while CRZ was gone was, ``CRZ doesn't owe us anything.'' One of the things he most certainly doesn't owe us is an explanation for what he does or doesn't do.

Please, everybody, learn to draw the line.

(aside: You want to believe `something' about what happened last week because you can't just accept it and move on? How about this: CRZ has gone back to school and is now pursuing an MA in Sociology and Psychology. He now has all the material he could ever need for a thesis. It would serve us all right.)

I think the reason people want to know what happened is because CRZ, through his cryptic and mysterious messages, encouraged everyone to speculate on his actions.

Let's face it, even if he had business and wasn't able to tend to the site for a few days, he could have easily left the main site the way it was. We would instead have been wondering why there hadn't been any updates instead of why the whole site went black, with only the words 'Good night' in the title bar.

Sure, CRZ doesn't "owe" us an explanation, but some of us nosey little turds just want to know.

I guess my problem with youse (sp is intentional) guys is that the question has been asked about 400 times across 10 or so threads. The man (myth???) has either (1) said that he isn't going to tell you what the dilly yo was or (2) has ignored your repeated attempts to get the 411. Yet...you continue to hound him and fill up precious Internet real estate with your begging and pleading and continuous pantleg tugging mantra of "Please mommy can I have the GI Joe! I'll be a good boy and never ask you for another toy. PLEASE???!!!".

Let's give it a rest, ok?
