I was going to title the thread Aka They Blew It Again, but that is not what really happened in all the matches..just one and it was pretty big.

Sasha and Bayley win in what was a good chamber match. They were the right choice to win as they are the biggest names in the match plus they have been advocating for this thing for awhile. I do think WWE is going to need some more female tag teams to help build this help as the Iconics almost killed a few girls and Tamina/Nia is not going to be an ongoing team. I think Carmella/Naomi should be called Women Having a Bad Week.

The Usos beat Miz and Shane. A little surprised for both the on the field and off the field reasons. I guess they want to spend more time turning Miz, but to me turning Shane is where the money is. Also congratulate on Miz and Mayrse for baby two.

Finn wins. Honestly, they need to stop trading the IC title around and just let Finn run with it even past Mania. The IC title used to the be the workers belt and Finn is that dude until they can finally get the title off of Brock.

Rhonda killed Ruby. My biggest worry is that Rhonda would steamroll which ever roster she was in and that has happened. It sucks, because I like Rhonda, but she should not be female Brock especially for a rookie. Booking like that made Brock bored within two years and it sounds like Rhonda is already bored within a year.

After the match, Charlotte and Becky show up then chaos ensues. Becky is so great right now that I really do worry they are going to fuck this up. Why you may ask, well we will get to it in a little bit.

Baron Corbin beat Braun after Drew and Lashley interfered. I think Braun is damaged goods at this point and I think Baron is just getting X-Poc heat.

So, the main event. Probably the best chamber match in awhile. The eliminations were quicker than the woman's tag, but it finally lead to Kofi vs Bryan which was a five star match with a one star ending. I love New Daniel Bryan, but tonight should not have been his night. It should have been Kofi's night. Even if he is getting a chance at Mania, spoiler alert, he won't because Vince has some plan for Mania for that title that will feel ordinary. We have been down this path, so many times that we all know this to be true. It happens twice a year where someone really should win, come up short and are given some secondary title never to reach that high again. I feel for Kofi as there is another PPV between now and Mania where he could have won here and lost to Bryan for whatever ordinary plans Vince has.

Regardless, I am going to Mania and I think if Vince fucks this up as well as Becky and Rollins, he is going to be dealing with a crowd already that wants a WrestleMania moment, because WM 29 was saved by CM Punk and Taker. I don't think one match will save them this time.

Oh, I dunno; I think this was Kofi's night, even though he didn't win. Everyone was pulling for him. If I were booking this, I'd have Kofi win the #1 contendership at Fastlane, and then defeat Daniel Bryan for the title at WrestleMania. Wouldn't it be more meaningful for Kofi's first title win to come at WrestleMania, anyway?

Women's match, good showing. I liked how everyone tried their best, got a moment to shine and even the way Nia was taken out (damn she almost broke the outer window too!) was pretty cool.
Almost obvious that Bayley & Sasha would win (which meant there was a chance they wouldn't) so good that they did.

Usos vs MizMahon was relatively short, or maybe I just didn't really pay attention. Shane got his 'look at me' bs spots in and the Usos winning WAS a shocker. We'll see if the Miz gets all "you put yourself above the team" on Shane. I don't care either way.
So...Usos vs the Bar (again?)

Finn wins. Didn't care for the match. Yeah let's hope Finn keeps it and puts up a few sweet matches against credible opponents.

I don't mind Rhonda beating Ruby like this. They've established that she is just that good and above pretty much most of the roster. Flair sitting there and them showing the house show stuff with Becky means Becky has to show up. And wow she did. That was a BRUTAL beating she gave 'em both.
I wonder what those crutches were made of because usually those things fly into pieces or bend pretty quickly. FUN beating.

Corbin, Strowman...usually I don't do toilet breaks, but this one time I did. And i stalled until it was over. Zzzz.

WWE title chamber. Ok, I gotta admit, I DON'T want Kofi to win the title here. All the "omg the gauntlet was great, they must push him" is bs. They did that so the match wasn't 5 guys and the funny New Day dude. Having said that, him and Bryan tearing down the house at the end AND making you believe was great.
If they had gone with a Kofi win, I could've seen Daniel go after the New Day (they're wasting valuable resources every time they toss a pancake) Hey they could still go that route since I don't know what the WM program for him is gonna be.
Daniel's win was good. The guy is on fire too with his promos and he is definitely 'back' in the ring too.

A good show, a good set up for WM which is right around the corn--oh...we still have Fastlane to get through?

Yeah, they stumbled onto that enthusiasm for Kofi when they did that just to build him up for a PPV main event. It probably was wiser for them not to follow the passion of the moment and think long term for their Mania plans for Bryan, which according to Meltzer, they have.

I don't think there would've been anything wrong with giving Kofi the belt and having Bryan win it right back, but Bryan just introduced that new hemp belt and that wasn't going to go off TV for very long.

And hey, sometimes these things have long term effects down the road. Rollins' performance in that gauntlet match last year gave him a lot of momentum. Of course, Rollins is also one of the HHH guys, so he's always being thought of for main event matches while Kofi is just someone who organically found himself in one.

Okay, I'm going to take a nap until Mania.

Hey, good news. They've stumbled onto a way to make me care about literally anything that might happen at Fastlane.

Well he said going abroad so yeah that doesn't point to the WWE. Yea, it sounds much more like Japan, probably NJPW or maybe NOAH.
