I wouldn't say Adventure Sync has made me any more into it, but it's also really cold here so I have limited interest in walking outside. I did hatch a bunch of eggs today but that was me loading all my incubators in a failed attempt to get Budew or Riolu.
Adventure Sync coming right as it started to get cold was not great timing. But it's pushed me to walk around a little more in 30/40 F degree weather to rack up some extra KMs before it gets any worse.
Actually, Saturday, I was thinking maybe I'd just stay in my warm house and catch whatever Cyndaquils I could. Then I looked at my Friend list and saw people in the Regina area who had to be out in even colder weather. I ended up outside for about 2 hours plus a lunch break, only could find two Shinys, they're both not much good, won two raids for Deoxys, and failed to catch the Deoxys both times. But if you want a Mawlie or a Shinx, I got you covered.
The really big Pokemon news in my life is pokemongomap.info I guess had to delete their database and shut down. They had a perfect list of Pokemon gyms and stops - too perfect, they had to have taken it from someplace they weren't supposed to take it. They're relaunching it at pogomap.info with just user submitted places, but it's got 0.01% of the info. A lot of the fun I had with this game over the warmer months was looking at that site exploring places with clusters of gyms and stops. Maybe people will add enough to the new site to make it worthwhile or maybe I'll just find another one, but it'd be nice if that was just something Pokemon Go provided themselves.

It was probably about 15F here before the windchill, but I was at the university so I didn't have to go outside much, just fast walking from building to building. I even paid $6 to park in the underground for the duration because I am a wimp.
If you have shiny Mawile or Shinx, I'm very jealous.
Just wanted to mention that playing DtR on the Xbox and PS2 shows how much the Xbox controller sucks ass. I'll prolly get through the game by Xmas... and I am renting it... but I'd love to see a sequel come out. It's fun, in a Die Hard sort of way.
