B99 is a legit surprise. I remember going through something similar with P&R back in the day where each season finale felt like it could have been a series finale, but NBC kept it around. Sad to see such a well respected show go like that.
The Mick also got cancelled from what I hear. Supposedly Fox is freeing up a night for the new football package.
There seems to be strong talk (via "sources" in articles) that say Hulu, Netflix, and TBS are all calling about picking up B99.
I absolutely love the Nine-Nine. Much like Parks & Rec, just a crop of characters you can't help but love. It also has a ton of diversity, which is something you'd think networks would be trying hard to keep. And, of course, it's hilarious.
Gotta free up room for the 27th Gordon Ramsey show though!
It definitely seems like Nine-Nine will get saved, it's too good a show with too strong a following to not get picked up by another audience-needy outlet.
George Michael weighed his options. Maeby had chastised him for not taking risks, and what would be a bigger risk than perpetuating a lie about software just to ignite the passions of a woman? Of course it would be a lie, and since Maeby wouldn't know it was a lie, he wouldn't appear to be taking a risk. Perhaps the bigger risk was to tell his father he was lying, that he came up with it because he wanted his father to leave so he could enjoy what remained of his senior year. After all, he wondered, wouldn't that be the course of action taken by an overtly sexual man, a man who owns a pair of matador pants? He had not responded now for 41 seconds according to his unfailing internal clock, and it was time to come clean.
It's official: NBC has revived Brooklyn Nine-Nine for a 13-episode sixth season. The abbreviated 13-episode pickup comes a day after Fox shockingly canceled the Universal Television-produced single-camera comedy after five seasons.
