The Pokemon Go Legendaries are far harder to catch than I expected.

Took the full week of hunting to find four Articuno, of which the first three escaped.

I am 0/1 on Lugia so far.

I'm tired of reading all the media commentary about "No one plays Pokemon Go anymore" even though Pokemon Go fest was too huge for its own good and even though its lost more players than most games could ever hope to have it still has a huge playerbase.

I'm 3 for 5 on Articuno, 2 for 3 on Lugia. There have been plenty of both here. And there's a Facebook chat for my city that lets people find and coordinate raids, which has helped a lot.

This is the best banner. I've had fair balls come right at me, right at me and have whiffed it that badly and was deservedly booed. I probably made that face too.

Somehow my mind thought "pizza assembly line" today, ran the Google Images search, found a suitable photo to resize and slice, put it together, went to save it with the name "pizzaline.jpg" and found that not only did I already HAVE a "pizzaline.jpg," but IT WAS THE EXACT SAME PHOTO because I went through this entire process for the same results back on July 27, 2015 (The W). It's very weird that my mind worked the same exact way today as it did back then. Also, there's a real lack of good photos of pizzas on an assembly line, I guess. So....I took a higher snip this time. I REALLY need to get back to making a whole bunch of banners at once and just having them autofeed instead of making you stare at the test pattern for 15 or 16 hours. Well, there's a lot of stuff I REALLY need to do...

LYNX! I turned on the final with 0:55 to go, so I got to watch them win. Nicely done, ladies!

Little did she know she was about to be attacked by a rabid raccoon she would end up killing with her bare hands.
