The W - Movies & TV - Aqua Teen Hunger Force Forever 11x8 "The Last One Forever and Ever (For Real This Time) (We F....) This thread has 52 referrals leading to it
Episode 1 5 of "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" aired roughly the same time this board came into existence, so it seems apropos that we mark the latest (and last?) "final" episode with a commemorative thread.
As finales go, it was...well, it was average? I didn't find it was very satisfying, but perhaps that was indicative of the entire show - just kinda bizarre and random. To be honest, the last "finale" (the live action episode) felt like more of a satisfying final episode than this one - but of course, that one WASN'T, so...
Not only was it the longest episode, but it had the longest title: The Last One Forever and Ever (For Real This Time) (We Fucking Mean It) - although it didn't QUITE appear that way in the cable guide.
Patti Smith sang about "13 seasons" but I still can't figure that one out. Maybe the movie was two extra seasons?
Still, new Aqua Teen... was nice to occasionally have around, even as "occasionally" became more and more infrequent. I'll miss 'em.

I was 17. My friends and I were at a lock in at a voluntary fire department. That night when that line was said, we couldn't stop laughing. My first and best memory of this show.

I loved lots of lines on this show, but that was my favorite as well, and was one of my earliest signatures here.

So I finally got to watch the finale. Good episode, thought it would have a bigger finish like everybody else did but still thought it was a good way to end the series. And so I went back to watching AS as regularly scheduled and saw ATHF's pilot about the rabbot...

expect it wasn't. Tonight was the real finale (unless the writers are screwing us again). This ending shows Shake becoming Jesus while Frylock & Carl become immortal due to shampoo but in prison serving life sentences for killing Christopher Lambert as the highlander. Again, seemed more like a regular episode than a true ending but a good episode still. I just get the feeling this still may not truly be over. Stay tuned next week, I guess.
Yeah, serves me right for starting a thread, right? Got me again.
A 10 episode season does make more sense...as much as things can make sense these days...so I think they're really done now. (Last week's double would be eps 8 AND 9)
