I do not like anyone lose their jobs in these difficult economic times and also famine and war.

Anyway, I hope Drew and Teddy had a text conversation like this as the news rolled out:

Drew: Ha ha, Teddah! YE have been released, but AH'VE still been CHOSEN to keep MAH job!
Teddy: Now hold on a minute, playa...

-Bourne basically retroactively never existed (they should paste Tyson Kidd over him in old footage of Air Boom if it ever comes up).
-Curt Hawkins being gone can only mean that they are no longer making video games ever again.
-They should have had Rusev end the careers of Brodus and Referee Marc Harris and maybe also Teddy, who would have been offended by Rusev's pattern of opponents and tried to mount White Boy Challenge 2K14 via Titus.
-We must assume that Alicia Fox killed Aksana. Most likely with a shovel.
-Until/unless proven otherwise, I will continue to believe that Brodus went to the doghouse because he got the Funkasuarus over on his own
-They should have let Yoshi at least try to run with the mask and facepaint thing he came up with. The lesson, as always: don't try.
-Heath Slater should win Money In The Bank now

Aksana can't go, they will beat her with shovels. So Naomi is the last competitor standing from NX3 and true rainfallmaker, 'cause I'll believe AJ is actually coming back when I see it. I hate to do that trite "AND YET ___ HAS A JOB" thing but it's genuine bonkers that Rosa Mendes has Immunity Battle Royal Immunity from being cast on Total Divas.

3MB was the best. Probably victimized by Spirit Squad syndrome where by playing losers so well the company forgot they were just playing. They had a great run, it's amazing to think they joined forces around Raw 1000 times. McIntyre as the Chosen One was pretty much a dud but boy did he ham it up with wonderful aplomb as a real rock'n'rolla.

As we always say, Yoshi Tatsu should've been Tajiri (and Tajiri should've been the Great Muta). We'll always have the Christatsu era of ECW.

Brodus was ne'er good but it's weird that they never even bothered with his heel run, which peaked with his NXT concession speech/ominous threat and was essentially given wholesale to Mark Henry.

Evan Bourne could've been every bit the asset that Seth Rollins has been and should've played a big role in the Cena/Nexus wars, but clearly they've been done with him for years.

Oh shit. Taking the Teddy/McIntyre/Matt Hardy feud on the road could be a boon for the independents.

*sniff, sniff*... Aksana was my favorite Diva. :-(

I would have thought there was life to Camacho. And 3MB is no more, which is a shame.

The others aren't as surprising. When do we think the clock will stop on this blood-letting? More to come today?

Sucks about Drew. I always thought that guy was criminally underused. They seemed to tease an angle with him and Kelly Kelly for awhile, but then it fizzled.

-Drew I never, ever liked. I've never understood the love for him. I found his ring work middling-to-good at best, and his soft, whispy voice made it impossible to buy into any intensity he tried to show. And 3MB is a death gimmick anyway. Even if that gimmick has a place, it's a bad place and a very, very limited place, a place that ruins any potential you ever had; one you can never get back from. Like New Jersey.

-Yoshi surely could have been better used. He can work when given a chance, and the total lack of Japanese stars in WWE over the past several years is really pretty inexcusable, considering how many world-class pro wrestlers that country produces.

-Brodus was another gimmick of death. It's something that can't possibly work for longer than six weeks, which usually means WWE will keep it going for six months, but once it runs its course you have nothing left to do with anyone associated with such utter bubbling fecal matter. Naomi and Cameron have the advantage of being pretty girls, and even they'd be questionable if Total Divas hadn't come along.

-Of this entire list only Teddy Long upsets me. A guy who's been in the business that long doesn't fit ANYplace? He's a resource for the young kids on this roster, make him a manager or at least a consultant. Just seems tacky.

Tatsu would be a good fit in TNA's X-Division, at least for a brief stint. I also enjoyed Aksana in NXT3, so I hope she joins the Knockouts.

If I'm R-Truth, I'm a little nervous right now, and sadly he is the guy I want to see off my television the most now.

Some of these guys could have been used better, but I'm with most of you on Camacho. I would have liked at least one repackaging.

Now that Evan Bourne is finally released, I really hope he gets booked in a match against his brother Mike Sydal. I've been wanting to see that for a few years now.

Now what's Hornswoggle going to do?

Too bad about Teddy. I can't believe it's going to be permanent. He'll pop up in TNA at least or something.

I guess Teddy's probation period with Vince finally expired. I agree with the sentiment that Teddy is a sneaky-good HOF choice in future years.

Tajiri had the best style/size/reaction of any midcarder his era and was my shining hope to see as an Asian World Champion. I feel like twenty years from now we'll find out HHH was in his corner but didn't have that much influence yet and Vince didn't agree.

Anyone who says Hunter never shows vulnerability or weakness has forgotten when HHH got misted and screamed at a potted plant in a scene that makes me smile just thinking about it, to this day.

This company has always been like network TV pre-Lost: Only one or two Asian guys at a time. And it's operated with a modified version of The Walking Dead's black guy rule. As soon as another shows up, the existing better get nervous.

So it's good news to KENTA fans as he's almost certainly the Tyreese to Tatsu's T Dog.

This post was dedicted to Drew "Best Original Entrance Song in Ten Years" McIntyre and Hawkins' Pimp Cane. Shine bright like a diamond, fellas.

In the heyday of Cryme Tyne, JTG was busting out a new move each week. He won me over. And then they pushed Shad.
