I have in the past marathoned The Shield, Sports Night, all the Star Trek Series, and am now just starting Justified, which appears, after just a couple episodes, to be very good.

What are you working on?

This is just using Starz On Demand, but we just finished Spartacus Vengeance. (The proper second season of Spartacus, though there is a half season long prequel after the first season.). Lots of blood and nudity. It does a good job setting people at odds and then making you wait to see them fight.

I've never watched Clone Wars - is it any good? Is it canon? Where does it fit in the Star Wars movie storyline?

On Netflix, I spent the fall/winter watching every episode of The West Wing. I never watched it when it was first on, but its subject matter appealed to me as I got older. It's a little daunting to start in on the first season and know you have 150+ episodes to watch, but I did it.

I've started Homeland on Netflix. Season one flew by pretty quickly. They only have two seasons available.

It seems to be canon even after Disney whittled away almost all the non-movie stories recently.

It is good in batches. Watching it so intensively exacerbates the weaknesses (The Obi-Wan voice direction is awful, for instance), and Anakin is pretty flat and boring. But Obi-Wan and Anakin are locked into what they will become for Episode III.

Everyone else is interesting because they don't have the limitation. The clones understand what their roles are. Anakin's padawan becomes much more than we got in the Clone Wars movie. Dooku's relationship to his minions is dark and intriguing. I LOVE Grievous. The episodes with no or minimal Obi-Wan/Anakin presence are the best. The show gets dark, and people die in meaningful ways.

For a Star Wars cartoon, it's much better than I expected.

Nous ne nous pouvons pas sortir.
Love Clone Wars. Just finished Seasons 3-6 of that a couple weeks ago.

Last night I destroyed my sleep schedule when I discovered Torchwood: Miracle Day is on Netflix now but I realized I had forgotten most of Children of Earth, also, Peter Capaldi, so I stayed up until 4am to watch that.

Next up, Miracle Day or Psych Season 7.

The Wire. And I am very excited as I do not know more than the basic premise of the show so there are no real spoilers for me.

One of the top five shows ever. Can't go wrong with The Wire.

Finished with Homeland, started rewatching It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia for giggles.

Looking at starting some other drama show, but just not sure which one.

I've decided to watch HOUSE. I didn't catch on until the 3rd season or so when it was on, so it's fun seeing the characters in their original form.

I'm screwed. They just put most HBO series and specials on Prime. Must Marathon Boardwalk Empire

This brings up a question for me. We have Netflix at our house, though I've barely used it. The teenagers, however, gets our money's worth. What is different between Amazon Prime and Netflix? What crap will I take from my kids if I switch to Prime? Help me out, Ws.

Not sure if it's gotten better but I had PRIME on a free trial basis back in December of 2012.

I thought Netflix had a far bigger selection of viewing material to choose from than PRIME did.

I wasn't that impressed with PRIME.

What he said. Off the top of my head, The Natural is the only time I liked the movie more than the book (and, in this case, by an order of magnitude). However, the movie does violate JayJayDean's rule because there are some pretty radical changes.
