2015, says Robert Kirkman, via EW. (insidetv.ew.com) "Untethered" to the comic book series.

Hey, you know who had this same idea? Me.

What I said. I'm looking forward to expanding this universe.

They're World War Zing the Walking Dead.

I want an anthology series. I don't care for another regular cast of characters.

Very cool news, and I agree that an anthology format would be more interesting and engaging than a whole second set of characters. Get a variety of directors to take on 1 to 3 episode long stories from a variety of locations around the globe. Maybe throw money at a few bigger name actors/actresses to come in for a few of them per season.

Robert Kirkman is up there with my favorite creative minds of all time, and I love that this TV project has been so successful for him. Still holding out hope for an Invincible animated series someday.

Norman Reedus, lead actor come on down, you are the next contestant in The Spin-off is Right. I just hope they get a lead female character, I don't hate. Maggie is the exception of course.

Set it in Albuquerque. Have the Breaking Bad flash-forwards serve as a backdoor pilot. Then sit back and count your cash, AMC.

The problem with these ideas is that they'd both be cooler than the original show. Everyone loves Reedus, so he'd be a big loss to TWD that couldn't be easily replaced. Also, an anthology series set around the world filmed by big-name directors and starring big-name actors will make TWD with its unheralded cast, over-acting Governors and lack of story movement look pretty crappy in comparison.

Turns out that ricin added to Todd's half-assed meth combines to create zombieism, and then when it's accidentally spilled into ABQ's water supply, hijinks ensue!

In the game, you encounter some people from the comic before their storyline entered the comic, and then they become separated. I think it'd be smart to maybe open with the Reedus brothers at the start of the zombie outbreak, have them with some people, who then then get separated, and we follow this other groups storyline. Would probably be pretty exciting for people to see Michael Rooker again for a couple episodes.

It could be interesting how people could potentially pollinate between the two....we could have people that start on the new show that are people we meet later on the main show.

Big Bad, I understand what you're saying, but I also feel like TWD on AMC is still one thing out of a lot of walking dead things and it is the crappiest of all of them. The comic is better, the novels are better, the game is better.

Now, I saw this movie with five girls who thought it was great, so your mileage may vary....but I thought it was just so-so. The big problem I had was with the two main characters, both of which I didn't think were likeable.
