This is such a no-brainer, I can't believe it took them this long to announce it. Justice League is going to be hard as hell to get off the ground (if it ever does), but Batman/Superman is easy, uses the two most bankable characters, and potentially lays groundwork for that Justice League movie.
Boy, the geek world's gonna be abuzz. A new Batman to cast? Huzzah! Easiest prediction ever: most people will be unhappy when it's announced.
So, leading up to JLA, you do:
Batman/Superman
Flash/Green Lantern (NOT RYAN REYNOLDS - That terrible movie at least established the GL concept, and having them as a buddy team allows you to get to actors playing off of each other and make up for neither being among the true superhero elite to the non-comic buying public)
Wonder Woman (solo) or Trinity (Bats/Supes/WW)
JLA
Bonus idea: Just as they used Coulson/Fury to tie together the Marvel movies leading up to Avengers, use Martian Manhunter for the JLA movies. With his shapeshifting and telepathic capabilities, he could be scouting them in preparation for some alien happening (Darkseid, I would guess, unless you want to try to save him for a later movie) that he knows will require the Big Guns getting together.

For some reason, I see a very "New Frontier" style of story happening in the first JLA movie; a huge threat, Batman, Wonder Woman AND Superman are not directly involved in taking it down so the rest of the JLA saves them.
Actually, just make the first JLA movie New Frontier since it focuses heavily on the origins of Martian Manhunter and Hal Jordan and the formation of the JLA and I'll eat it up with a spoon.
I did have a nerdgasm when I saw Batman would be in Man of Steel 2.

I'm seeing various news reports that The Flash movie is slated for 2016; Justice League in 2017 ... were those officially announced at Comic-Con or are they just still rumors at this point?
As for Green Lantern, I don't have a problem with Ryan Reynolds keeping the role ... he didn't write the script. Would be kinda cool to see him show up in a post-credits MoS2 scene.
So let's see ... in 2015, we have:
Superman/Batman The Avengers: Age of Ultron Star Wars: Episode VII
Much better idea than jumping right into a Justice League movie, and maybe it'll wind up being an effective way of introducing a post-Bale Batman. They were going to make another Superman movie anyway, why not just put Batman in there?
The implication here is that Batman is going to be a villain of sorts, challenging Superman in some way. Maybe with Lex Luthor being the ultimate villain.
But I didn't really like "Man of Steel," so I don't know how much I'm going to like Snyder's version of this.

My head just exploded.
I thought this year's Comic Con Hall H wait/camp out was insane, worse than last year's... but next year will be even crazier with these movies on tap for 2015.

With Green Lantern bombing at the theater, and now RIPD doing the same, the movie industry heads might have a problem.
It's not like a JLA movie would be sold on who was playing Green Lantern.
Prior to this announcement, I was fine with bringing Ryan Reynolds back just to speed things along, but if they are creating a new Batman, then I think they should now start looking for someone to play the John Stewart GL. One could argue he is more known to the general public as GL from the JLU show. Plus it ads some much needed diversity to the white bread JLA.
Ahh yes, this topic just reminded me why Clubber Lang was on of the best villans in cinema. His lines were classic. Just a snipit of my faves. Interviewer: Do you hate Rocky? Clubber Lang: No, I don't hate Balboa. I pity the fool. Interviewer:
