I still can't root for the Zombies and was extremely glad to see the Heat win the other night. Come back soon, team coming to Seattle to replace the Sonics!

I feel you, homie. I was rooting for you guys to get the Kings, but then I read a Seattlite say they didnt want to inherit someone else's stolen team. Your thoughts?

You WOULD root for that.
While I would prefer NOT to take a team from somewhere else, if that place's leadership (whether it is Sacramento, New Orleans, or wherever) is inept enough to let a team they want to keep leave - like Seattle's was - then I will welcome that team and root for them like crazy. I don't want their history or anything, though. It is too weird when they show a graphic like "Gary Payton is the all-time leading scorer in Zombie's history and Durant is second." No - Durant is first in Zombies' history and Payton is first in Sonics' history. Even OKC fans would agree.
More on-topic, Izzy and I took a trip to the mall yesterday and there seems to be a surprising increase in Sonics stuff for sale considering we don't have a team and haven't since 2008.

When I thin about how good OKC is and how they have players that I actually like it depresses me. I want to hate this team ... I think it is a good time to go watch Shawn Kemp dunk clips on YouTube again.
Still bust out my Sonics gear on occasion and I'm staring at my Xavier McDaniel poster that's in my sightline just over my monitor now . . . sigh.

I will not lie. As much as I want to see my Sonics back, I don't care for the NBA. Seattle won't get a team back until that friggin' troll Stern is dead. All he cares about is new facilities...Jesus, Orlando just blew up a building not more than 20 years old!!!

Ok, I get the whole Florida Panthers "Rat Trick" thing with the fans throwing plastic rats on to the ice. But what's up with the almost empty arena, yet there's plastic rats all over the ice?

The fans threw them on the ice at the end of the game, so this pic was probably taken after they filed out of the arena.

I thought it was yesterday, so the national debt clock came up yesterday. (I would pay more attention to this stuff if I didn't pay an accountant to take care of it for me.)
