This week's FG went in a weird direction. The 28 Days Later scenario was really interesting. Loved the callbacks to old gags and how their amnesiac minds changed their views on those jokes. Also loved the pretty decent character work throughout the episode, with the Peter/Brian friendship reinforced.

The ending was another one of those Stewie simulations. And in this case, it worked pretty well.

Joe: Hey, I found my house. Turns out my name is Joe Swanson. And I found this police uniform in my closet. Do you know what that means? I'm a stripper!

Nitpicky:

Weren't their names on their Twitter accounts?

If Brian made a big deal out of noticing no pictures of himself in Quagmire's house, how come he/everybody failed to notice he was in some framed Griffin house photos?

I LOVED this episode. The ShirtPants montage really got me. But I liked the mystery of the episode and the payoff was fine.

It was probably only me, but I got a slight Red Dwarf's "Better Than Life" vibe from the beginning and end of the episode.

I don't think there's any romantic sparks between Joan and Lane, which is funny since Lane is so desperate for female companionship that's not his wife. Joan/Lane is based around pure professional respect.
